Ok, you guys make me laugh. I think I lost track
of how many topics I have seen in here. Then I
seen hot flashes , a winery , atv's , deer, opossum,
fox, racoon, wild pig. water bill, 200- 300.00 tickets.
Then there was mention of a garden raid. Then someone
got called a heifer....

Now it I want to chime in on Running out of Space, at home.
I got a grandfather thats 92 with Alzheimer's and Dementia,
that has at least 3 usable acers that I can't use for Iris cause.
He would take a tractor to them thinking it was some new weeds.
Then gripe about the water bill and why he is paying to water weeds.

Los Alamos, NM(Zone 5a)

Your 92 year old grandfather is still driving his tractor? Sounds like a hazard to his property and himself to me.

Tranquillity, CA(Zone 9a)

Oh yeah....He just took his 3rd driving test. He told my dad he missed 4..
My dad has even told DMV he does not need to be driving at all, along
with his doctor. But still DMV gives him a test. He is so beyound being
hardheaded. He will not let anyone clean his house. , Oh I can go on and
on.

I know. I have an elderly MIL who is the same. But she has decided not to drive except to her hair appointment each Thursday. She is afraid to have her license renewed because she might fail the eye test. Actually, I think her eyes are fine -- well, at least one of them. She had the cataract removed and can see great. Even though the operation was a success she has refused to have the other eye done. Still I think you can pass they eye test with one good eye. Oh well. I promise you that there is no talking to her.
