I did not know that American Revolution polytepaled. I wonder what the percentage is?
Alphabet Soup Anyone? Post Your "A" named Daylilies Today!!
It was a 90 degree day in full sun when I toured Ted's garden and took some pics of American Freedom so it has us hovering over it shade wise.

Thanks for the poly news. American Revolution is a three year old and been divided once for Linda has a piece of it. I water them often and feed them osmocote for they are in raised wooden beds in full sun with delphiniums, irises and other perennials. Sometimes the get 5-10-5 if that is what I have on hand or good old cow manure some years so I do not think I have a feeding system difference. They get smaller and less colorful if I do not water is the main difference I see most of the time using the raised wooden beds.
For my anniversary present one year did I ask for a ring? Nope, I asked for a truck load of loam mixed with manure and my parents and husband complied.. That and helping with the wood and gravel for drainaged when we built them one by one over the years.
I think that it is my first poly for American Revolution and I always try to photograph when the daylilies poly to see who does, how often and who does not. Anna Warner, Disco Rose, and Chicago Raspberry polytepal the most often in my garden but there are others that do like Pagan Ritual, Chicago Sunrise and Chicago Heirloom. Last year even Mildred Mitchell was almost double. Most occurred last year. What makes them do that and not do that another year I wonder?
