Does anyone know the name of this grass? It grows here to about 3 feet tall.

You may have to wait and see what the new growth looks like if there is any. It's hard to tell while it is dormant. Hopefully it will come back in the Spring.

Any new growth on your grass? I wonder if it might be karl foerster or overdam, just because it is a narrow vertical profile.

That looks like what is called here in Middle Tennessee broom grass.
