seedlings grafted onto Periskiopsis

This is my first attempt at grafting and it appears that most of the seedlings I grafted have taken.My question is,should I just let them go dormant for the winter,or put them under flouros with a heating pad.The seedlings are only 3/8" long.According to what I have been reading, it is better to do this grafting around april or so,but I am just playing around with it trying to get the method down.
