If I have blooms than I know everyone else does so show me those blooms!!
Fall bloom part Dos
My Canna's are really pooping out. The sun has changed enough that they are in mostly shade now :(
Your's look great!
Alway's love the stinkers!
awesome fleurs!
Susie
Nice Marie. Are the stinkers in shade?
Yes they are in dappled shade under a mesquite tree.
Ah - soon come I'll be able to plant under a couple of nice mesquites. Grow baby Grow!!!
I will be happy to share some stinkers with you when you are ready!!
Sounds good....I have been gathering choc bean vine seed pods for you. They feel so funny when they pop open in my hand.....tickles. :~}
I actually had one or two pop up from seed recently from the old plant. Too late though they will be frozen stiff by the end of next month. Same thing happened last year with my passiflora foetida.
Another day lily to add to my needs list!! My daughter is Julie :o)
Marie - That daylily has great garden presence with almost a 6 in. bloom and good texture. You will have to name a seedling after her that is a pretty name!
I will when I am as advanced as you are in daylily growing. Her full name is Julianna and I have one daylily now with that name although spelled with one less n. But her and I like to goof around and dance so that is a must have!!

Boo - Thanks for the info on the rueilla.
Marie - JULIANNA DANCING - That is even better! Now you know why daylilies can be so addictive, what better gift to give someone you love, Their very own flower named after them, and no other flower in the world looks exactly like it, and can be shared with family and friends.

Love that salvia. Some of my bulbs are showing themselves way early too
Beautiful blooms!
Marie, is the first one H. martianus?
Debbie, your hibiscus, is that the one laying on the ground? Poor baby, surely is a fighter! Wonderful color!
Lovely, lovely!
Yes it is
Gorgeous! Still believe it looks like a rose!
I have fresh seeds for you if you want them!!
Can I ever say no?
Marie--that salvia is 'Ultra Violet' from High Country Gardens:

Alexandra--Yes, that's my ground hugging 'Cloud Nine':

she'll be fine next year (she will definitely freeze to ground level this winter).
Here's that coral vine draped over the 7' Hamelia patens for ya Alexandra.
I finally got all the seedlings pulled from the back of the house (how attractive--sarcasm dripping). I really love the plant stands on the brick path--very zen--its death to the roofers if they hit those. That's almost my entire Cape Oxalis collection. Part of the winter veggie garden is behind that short fence (also bent arbor, I guess I will have to deal with that later this winter). Also part of the winter veggie garden is to the right of the picture above--I bent the pea trellis when I was trying to remove some 2 x 4's from out there earlier today. I'll take you a picture of those plants when they get a little bigger.
Great weather for working outside here!
Debbie
=)
I need me a plant stand so I can learn to pot up my oxalis. Mine are mixed into a large pot at the mometh and then a very small bed that i pull the bulbs out of for the summer
Love that coral vine!!!.
I got those at home depot--not very expensive and hold up well in rainy weather.
=)
