What is your slowest growing palm?

Ventura, CA(Zone 10b)

I suppose it's like anything else: the microclimate and owner's expertise.

I've got a good climate, but my expertise is seveeeeeeeeeeerely lacking

Acton, CA(Zone 8b)

who are these growers? I need to see these palms!

Vista, CA(Zone 10a)

Geoff, Dean Ouer has had one for years that no one knew what it was. Once K. pyriformis was coming around more, it was easy to see that was the palm he had. Matt his nephew has it now. Bill Sanford is another person with this plant. There are some others like Mardy Darian that have it too but did not have it labeled correctly.

Here is a picture of Matt's I dug up:

GREAT... can you add it to the plant files?

Vista, CA(Zone 10a)

I doubt Matt would care if you used his pics. Just credit him. I am betting you know more about the plant overall so I would prefer you do it. :)

Are these palms growing in South FL?

Louie Hooper has a good size (relatively) pyriformis in the ground at his place.

Regarding my slow growing Kentiopsis, It now has a spear emerging, which makes it slightly faster than my Dypsis onilahensis. Can I change my vote?
BTW, I couldn't stand it any longer, there is now a plantfile with photos of Kentiopsis pyriformis.
