Are pinks a little scarce? Show us some pinks?

Mittsy, Pink Champagne is listed as a new introduction, from Lauer in 2001. So 30+ years ago is out.

You might want to contact him and see if he got the name from someone else. The person that registers a name can release it.

Otherwise, it was some other name, or someone just plopped a name on it, maybe just a description of the color that was mistaken for the name?

If it was some other name there's:
Pink Celebrity (1988) Pink Challenge (1975) Pink Chameleon (1956), Pink Champaign (1950), Pink Charm, Pink Cheeks (1958), Pink Cheer (1968), Pink Chiffon (1959), Pink Chimes (1956), Pink Choice (1957), Pink Confection (1951).....and many more.

For most of these, you could contact HIPS - Historic Iris Preservation Society - google them!

Thank you, I'll check Pink Champaign, I could have it spelled wrong, the time is right.

I kinda figured it might be that one, but I was having fun listing the rest!

Seriously, check with the HIPS folks. or Wandasflowers. Someone like that should know where to get one. Also, they have a lot of photos you can see.

Love your NOID DaLoveRat:) That's a really strong looking pink color.

Los Alamos, NM(Zone 5a)

And your Beverly Sills is very nice as well. But I agree that the NOID is really nice with that strong pink.

Blanchard, MI(Zone 5a)

I agree its my best pink, nice and rich color with heavy substance in all the petals, a rather large flower too. I'll e-mail the person I received it from and see if they can recall the name. Here she is again.

Wow, I never knew there were so many gorgeous pinks!!!

ROTFL over removing sod. Luckily all my beds got wider when DH was at work. I transplanted the sod, so no problem. Now he's retired and I sneaked in curved bed while he waxed his car 10' away. I moved the sod and planted a peony. Moved more sod and added a siberian iris. It went on all afternoon.

I call it a Half Moon Bed because it will eventually be that. :o) The farthest bed is Harry Lauders Walkingstick Bed. The small circle is a eunonymus I rooted from my neighbors shrub.
