Dale, those pictures are gorgeous, were some taken in Holland? Luckily I am just about to hop in the shower to get ready for work as I have drooled all over myself looking at those beautiful flower displays. Thank you, you are such a tease!^_^

BH's Mom,

Here is todays catch from the State Botanical Garden in Largo, FL. It's a bromeliad in flower.

Crown of thorns never stop blooming here, they are the best potted plants.

I don't know why this is called Rangoon Creeper, it grows by leaps and bounds.

I didn't want to put all the brom flowers in a row.

I have used them as cut flowers, sometimes they last for weeks.

When ever I see a planting scheme that 'catches' by eye I add it to the file known as "Flower Beds".

I have had only one client that loved bromeliads. I wish I could use them more often, I like em!

I love red flowers.

I love the vinca. Reminds me of my childhood. My mother and our neighbor always had purple and white periwinkles. They came back every year with no prodding.

I have them scattered here and there to cover a blank spot. Jen says they are a thug on Maui.

I have periwinkles....pink and lavender and red salvia. Since I have so much green foliage I need some color when the daylilies and hibiscus aren't in bloom.
I love them. They are so cheerful.

Dale, is that a close-up of the Flame Vine? Very pretty.

Jeanne, the pink and lavender of the periwinkles are out here, but all I have are these white ones with the red center. They are actually called "Pacifica Polka dot" which I find very apropriate...ha ha. Your's are lovely, as are Dale's.
