Here's one I got for a gift yesterday for rating a display garden. It's an MDB called Flirty Eye.

Magnificent boojum. Your garden always inspires me. Thanks!

South Hamilton, MA

We have the version named 'Chollipo' looks very similar & is in bloom. Our named SDBs are taking their own sweet time & seedlings being discarded as they bloom. Did manage to self a salmon colored plant today in spite of the cold. I be it was colder where you are. L

Might be, Lucy. Which one is like Chollipo? Flirty Eye?

Our chinese species--won't try to spell it.

How beautiful is that first picture of your yard boojum!
I love the tiny Chinese iris too. Good for you.

Bet that hammock gets a lot of use----not!

Gorgeous pictures as always, Boojum.

Los Alamos, NM(Zone 5a)

Love the tree in bloom -- and apple? I love the pictures of your place.

Louisville, KY

you love ALL the trees don't you pajaritomt?

Los Alamos, NM(Zone 5a)

Soulja,
You are absolutely right. I love all the old big trees the best, but actually I love all the trees except the Siberian elm which is a weed here in New Mexico and the Tree of Heaven which actually is okay in some situations.

Tolleson, AZ(Zone 9a)

I too love that tree!! I think the only tree I do not love is the china berry tree!! Love those steps up to the hammock.

Lewisburg, KY(Zone 6a)

Lovely, Kathy
It looks so inviting! I have a couple of apple trees and they are so pretty when in bloom. We are much earlier though.

Durham, ME(Zone 3a)

Love your yard and tree. Our apple, pear and plum trees are in full bloom now. Seems the timing is the same for our areas.

Can feel that hammock inviting me for a rest. I can imagine doing that and looking at your beautiful garden while on it.

In other words, great photography!

Shelburne Falls, MA(Zone 5a)

Gosh, thanks! (blush) Well you are all invited but beware I will put you to work!

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

Boojum, Hooray! Iris season has officially started for me too, but in a much limited way. Are those birds new? Here are a few of mine taken today. Patti

Oh Soulja,
those are gorgeous. One looks like Celebrations song. Do you know what the others are? Aren't you the one who was putting in a circular garden where an above ground pool once stood? If so, your garden has to be a knock out.

Louisville, KY

so far so good! After a year and a half: .... I've arrived. It just gets better from here.

Hi, booj, fun to see your early iris! I was hoping you'd start a thread of your blooms this spring.

And I didn't realize you had so many short beardeds in your collection. They are so fun for early spring bloom-- but I only have a few and need More!

Don't forget to show us your siberians! t.
