Very pretty, patootie!
Becky, if you were referring to this one: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=4936948, it is the White w/red speckles Kikyo (formerly known as ten-ten).
Here is one bloom from this morning (ok, two blooms, one pic):
Thanx Nichole. Seeing your Cypress vine motivates me to start a few of those.
Love that vivid red. I was also wondering if your photo, old thread, is ten-ten
Very pretty and I've got one up too. I can barely stand the anticipation. lol
Nichole - Love it! I just started a Ten Ten a couple of weeks ago (it is one of the ones with foliage and a starter vine). I can't wait to see it bloom! I love it!!! Your cypress vine looks great!
Hi nicole,
Now is the time to start your ferts and bloombooster... whithout those you won't get as many blooms.. Is it in full sun? Don't forget they do better in dappled shade.
The white speckled one is Ten Ten..
A.
Nichole, I love your Count Drac. My 2 vines are still tiny. Getting ready to pot them
up and feed just a little to see if they will take off.

I agree...

A - I gave most of my plants a dose of fish emulsion a week ago . . . I'm thinking the next I'll give them is Superthrive . . . Most of my vines are still very short - I'm not sure if I want to give them bloombooster until they've grown up a bit. The only vines that have gotten past 5' tall are the I. wrightii's and the Heavenly Blues.
They'll get better, I believe these need alot of attention too, something too many people won't give them..
Not bad for FREE seeds huh.. can you imagine the people that paid for them..lol What they are thinking..! Hope all of you try them and not give them away as Ao's..
Nice blooms Nichole. Hope I see blooms on mine soon.
Nichole - Your Sydney looks similar to what I was told was a Joyce Cobb (Blue) blooming vine. I wonder if mine might have been a Sydney instead? http://davesgarden.com/community/blogs/i/36531/
I love the leaves on the I. wrightii! Very unusual looking! Pretty pink blooms, too! I wonder if pink is the most common color for MG blooms?
My picotee showed up in a pot too! I believe it might have been Star of India MG. Maybe they like the shade from other plants? :-)
I found a bug yesterday, and a few more like it this morning. It would appear that a few of my vines have adopted a family of golden tortoise beetles! This is the first time I've seen them since I started growing morning glories three years ago!

Becky,
This one:

It isn`t Sydney. I looks like a variation of Joyce Cobb.

All my grow-outs along the picket fence are starting to bloom! WHOO HOO!!! Bring em on! Love that Bloom Booster and Fish Emulsion concoction I just fertilized them with! LOL!
This one is Blue Asago Willow (seed from Gourd)! Love it!
A - So you think the next generation may have the willow gene? I have a couple more seeds of this one from you. I think I may grow another one out after this one expires. :-) Lovely color of blue!
Okay ... I am not sure what this one is. It came from Derek when I traded him for lollipops before Halloween last year. It was labeled "Mutant Blue Needle Leaf Nanding" (if I read the spelling correct).
I like it! The blooms are round, but it seems to carry the Picotee gene from how it looks. Kinda neat!
And last one for today. This one was also a seed from Derek. It was labeled Picotee Mix. Got a pretty magenta color picotee on this vine! That dark spot inside the throat turned out to be a caterpillar chowing down. Had to send it over the back fence! LOL! I don't kill cats because I want to encourage the butterflies and moths, but not at the expense of my MG vines. There is lots of caterpillar food in my yard ... the MGs are off-limits to the bugs! :-)
It seems the vines I have growing along the picket fence are deep pinks, purples, and blues with the lighter lavender color of Gourd's cross. I love them all!

Oh WOW, Nichole! I can't believe how long your vines are! Is that the PVC arch you made last year? Looks awesome!!
Your Dracula blooms are so sweet!! :-)
Becky, it is the pvc arch . . . so far the tallest on it is the I. wrightii and heavenly blues. Dracula is doing a pretty good job, too. I'm hoping the moonvine and loofa vines will start to catch up soon!
Loofa vine? What is that?
Your vines look great!!! :-)
You know those luffa (or loofa) sponges in the bath/body section at the store? Those grow on vines . . . http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/712/ . . . the vines I grew last year did ok (I kept forgetting to water!) - I'm hoping they do much better this year. They got at least 10' long, and got about a dozen decent size sponges.
That being said . . . this is the weekend for the fish emulsion/superthrive/bloombooster feeding . . . off to plug my nose and do another section of garden!

Becky, Your blooms are just stunning, Blue Asago willow, the Jishi x 10-10,
and the round bloom with picotee edges.
Nichole, precious Count Dracula blooms, love it
Nichole - I thought Loofa sponges came from the ocean (sea sponges). I had NO IDEA that they came from vines! That's insane! How KOOL is that?!!! My yard stinks for a few hours and then the smell goes away. But when I get it on my hands ... oh my ... takes several scrubs with some strong soap to rid my fingers of the smell. Sheesh! The plants sure do love that stinky stuff! LOL!
Thanks, Ronnie! Those deep blues beg for attention, don't they?!!! I love the color too!
Well, I have to tell ya ... Kohkan is far more beautiful in real life than even the photos posted in PlantFile. This is the vine I have been looking for and wanting for my picket fence and arbor. It is absolutely PERFECT!!! Great foliage, lush growth, amazing blooms, and rapid growing! Here is my very first bloom on this incredible vine! THIS IS THE ONE!!!
