Thanks wallaby! lol, no it's not a bird's nest but a flowerpot put on top of an wrought iron pergola, but I can see the likeness. The little tree with the light shining through is the Buddleya that planted itself at the foot of the huge old wall.

Nice, healthy and happy lilies.

If it gets too dark in that spot, remember high shade (when branches are trimmed high up) lets in a lot more light than if tree branches were allowed to grow lower, say, a couple meters up. More light equals more flowers.

Thanks Leftwood for the advise. The tree is trimmed high up , but fig leaves are very big and they still create a lot of shade, I'll have to transplant the lily to another place when it goes dormant. In early and mid spring it is the sunniest spot in my garden; south-orientated. Luckily fig trees come into leaf rather late..
