Blooms starting!

We lost a lot of it yesterday, it was 56 here. Now more snow on the way. But I certainly have enough snow to protect my plants.

I would move south, but the two kids on top of that pile, and their mother keep me here.

Right after I took the picture, my Granddaughter rolled down the other side, and my husband had to go up and over after her.

No melting--zero again tonight & up to a balmy 20 tommorrow. Should be in the 40s in March with a few 60s or more.

A bunch of us DGers are having breakfast together & then off to the local Home and Garden Show. At least we can dream of green returning...

sorry it is so ugly there still wandasflowers, it is a beautiful day here, a little cool, I like that. sunny, here is one of the first dwarfs to bloom, Firestorm, I had to do a double take as I did not see it push up a spike:)

Your Firestorm is lovley. I did not get to see it or most of my dwarfs bloom last year. Crossing my fingers for this year...

I have a lot of iris I hope are going to bloom this year as they have not at all I am really curious to see them. stay warm:)

I would cheerfully move someplace with a better climate for gardening, but I have a husband who is still working here, so I will have to figure out what to do about my mind during long winters. Travel is one thing, I need to do more of in the winter. Probably a green house would be a good idea. I need to look into county regulations on green houses.
