PuddlePirate - I just read this thread and realized that I've been reading your blog off and on for a long time. I'm a blogger, too.

Beth,

I had the pleasure of meeting your hubby at BlogWorld in Vegas back in November. How've you two been, SWWBO?

PuddlePirate - we are doing well. I should have gone to Vegas with my hubby, but I had just lost my job and wanted to hang out here at the farm. I'm definitely going this year!
I have been reading this thread trying to figure out how to amend enough of my clay soil to grow veggies and stuff. I found a product in Kansas City called Earth Right, and it is supposed to help open up the clay down to a couple of feet. I've heard some great reviews of the stuff, so I bought some and I'm going to try it and see how it goes.

Anyway, I'll be sure to find you at this year's BlogWorld!

It's long overdue, I know, but here are some exterior pics of my humble abode.

I'll try to remember to take more pics after the bulbs come up in March/April.
