June Bingo Calls, Part II

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

Look who I played with all afternoon while her daddy worked with the computer.....it took her 2 hours to decide which flowers to pick for the 'garden flowers' for her mom...........and which bowl would be her 'bridal flowers'...........such a sweet 5 or 6 year old!!!

Thumbnail by gessiegail

Oh she's adorable!! She looks so sweet! And her shirt... best I can tell it says "Dancing through life" I love that! You must have had so much fun with her! :o)

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

I do love children and they love me!!!! It is a good thing .......I don't do as well with adults (LOL)............

The Heart of Texas, TX(Zone 8b)

Gail, I know the feeling... little kids and any animal seem to adore me... other humans seem to really struggle with my existence..lol

the lil darling in your pic is precious... bet she had fun picking flowers. Her bowel is full!!!!

Someone should bingo soon, huh????

It's after 11:00 p.m. mountain time and I'm finally getting to check in. I had one today with Unpredictable Valley, 3 more to go!!

What a beauty Unpredictable Valley is! I sure don't understand the whole mini thing with a Violet that big and beautiful with Teeny Booper?? It obviously must have more to do with the foliage and flowers than the ultimate size of the plant. Regardless it is a beauty!

What a bummer Gail, computer crashes are the worst! I'm now scrupulous in backing up my Qucikbook files and I'm trying to do better with my pictures and other things! It's great that you can have one custom built and have the kind of support you need and deserve! Loved your Garden Helper today, what a doll. I too have a way with babies and children that doesn't translate as well to adults. : 0 )) My DD calls my 9 month old grand daughter "Little Traitor" as she does everything but jump from her mothers arms into mine whenever she sees me! LOL

Rain I love that Diva T-shirt! I needed one : )) The brindled coloring on your chi mix is beautiful!

Ok, now I need names for all these great doggies!! allgr8dogs gave her names (love Cricket!) and I see cute little Rocco and Sissy, what else do we have out there??

What a cutie pie, gessiegail. ; D How old is she?

Brenda, Optimara has this definition for Miniature:

Miniature: Sometimes called mini. Description of plant size or plant type. As defined by the AVSA for purposes of judging, a miniature is any African Violet which measures 6 inches or less in diameter. Many growers, however, make a distinction between miniatures and other, smaller varieties such as super miniatures and micro miniatures. As such, a miniature is typically 4 to 6 inches in diameter and is normally grown in a 2-inch pot. (Note that correct usage dictates that the term, miniature, be applied only in reference to true miniatures, i.e., those which have been bred to grow smaller. Contrast with miniaturized African Violets which have been diminished in size by growth regulators.) Miniatures were originally developed as hybrids from Saintpaulia pusilla. Since then, Saintpaulia shumensis has also been used to develop miniatures.

I'm assuming then, it's mini because one single plant would fit within the guidelines, but since it's a trailer, if left to grow as many crowns as possible, then it would get quite large, as those pictured have. They're quite amazing to me, really. LOL

Molly is our Chi's name. :o)

Mid, ID(Zone 3b)

Guess I was more tired last night than I thought as I didn't notice it was a trailer, that would have explained a lot! :0) The more bell shaped flowers are unique and pretty on Teeny Bopper.
