Staceysmon, how much sun does your oxalis get?

Some folks have luck with hydrangea here, I think they grow too slow. I still like them.

Queen Anne's Lace. May be a weed but I plant it around my pond since it is a BST host plant.

African Daisy, Osteospermum. Already Shown once, but not with a BST laying eggs on parsley. Ok, I'll get back to white flowers now.

Bacopa usually doesn't make it thru the summer here, this one has made it thru at least one and is starting it's second summer in this container. Lack of attention can be good for some plants.

Easter Lily are perennial here, most are annual, just too warm in winter.

Guara, best as an annual here, unless you want a monster plant in your beds. I let mine go this year until it reached 4', just too big for my small beds.

Guara is wonderful in a natural setting! It can get huge. Love your picture!

Delphinium, I think this was one of the Knights of the Round Table named Pacific Hybrids which I grew from seed around 3 years ago, possibly Sir Lancelot. I had only 4 or so in tiny pots struggling to survive. They got planted this year, not looking like a Pacific Hybrid but huge sprays of gorgeous flowers!

I've got one white flower, luckily it hasn't been posted. A hosta

The lily 'Quito' is a nice one. I wish I could grow more kinds of lily here. We have plants that will take the place of most 'northern' types. We have ginger family members that look very much like hosta (I grew up in Z4b), but, there is nothing here that can take the replace the elegance of lillies.

I'm glad you like the 'Quito'.

That particular variety wasn't a repeat here unfortunately.

I have a lily that I got from the UK that has white trumpets, a sweet lady sent it to me, but, you know it is now at 5'8" and no buds in sight. I haven't had to stake it - yet.

Wallaby, will this plant every bloom?

dale, that is tall! And it's gonna get taller!

Of course mine flowered last year in cold-hot Britain, died back after seeding in mid winter! So it's only about a foot tall now, but has a much thicker stem this year and another thin one. I didn't stake the thin stem last year either.

This was on 14th September, you should be earlier, it was a baby last year too.

(hi zest, haven't seen you for a long time!)
