First Fawn of the rehab season

Wow, he sure is a handsome buck.....I wish there was a way you could lock him up till after January 1, 2008.........Do you think he will still come around in rut?

Deann, He'll come around when he's hungry. Last night, he was munching on a pile of doughnuts at the house a bunch of construction guys are renting. Most of them are hunters, but they would beat anybody to a pulp that tried to hurt that deer. They have put out a lick and a pile of carrots for him and have told me that he thouroughly enjoys the occasional bowl of beer. Sheesh.

that's great the hunters have taken and liking to Wheatie .... while i understand the over population of deer, i could never kill one, or any animal for that matter.

He's gorgeous and glad to hear he's being taken care of... eating donuts... that's just so funny.
