Help dividing BIG clump of Fargesia

I'm moving and would like to take a chunk of my beautiful bamboo with me to my new home. It's very established - been in place for 7 or 8 years now. What is the best method for taking out a piece? (It's a Fargesia nitida, either 'Eisenach' or 'de Belder', all my doc's are packed!) TIA!
