Woo hoo - love ravenous! Yours are lovely too Janet.

It got REALLY hot today and melted some of the iris flowers. It's getting to the end of the season. :-(

Doss,
As your season ends, mine begins. I have not yet had my first iris bloom this year, but I now have numerous bloom stalks. It will probably be 1 to 2 weeks before I have bloom. Then I will post my pretty flowers for your enjoyment. I hope I don't split while waiting!

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

Passaparola is great. Also really like Sunshine love. The SBI are just starting to bloom for me and one tall one has a stalk. I don't expect a lot from the tall ones this year. Iris borers got to a lot last year, then a very rough winter and a late, late freeze didn't help and this week we have had near flood type rains. They look bad! Just hoping for a few nice blooms.

I too am getting near the end of my season so I am definitely looking forward to everyone else's pictures. I only expect just a couple more of mine to bloom.

Stanford, CA(Zone 9b)

I'll look forward to everyone's photos! In the meantime, here's an iris bed one week ago.

Lovely bed doss! Mine are just starting here. This is Laurel Park from Wandaflowers. It is a lovely coral pink color flushed with lavender with orange beards.

Oh, I do like that pink one. Do let us know if you figure out what it is.

Contemporary Art has taken three seasons to bloom for me, but I love it for the hint of ivory in the falls. Also like the way the falls curl up. I thought this was an IB because the blooms are smallish but I guess the height of the stalk is what counts?

Some TBI just have very small blooms and some IB's have large ones. I guess that it must be the height. Contemporary Art is lovely.

Willamette Valley, OR(Zone 8a)

Yes, I think it is the height as I recall. It is blooming with my IBs and early TBs so another reason I thought it to be IB. Anyhoo... I couldn't resist crossing it to Cee Jay (and reciprocal) this afternoon. Hope to get seeds!

Mine are about 3/4 done and I'm missing them already. I'm feeling lucky to have your lovely photos. I keep going out and passing by Dusky Challenger just to smell it before it leaves. It's a very late bloomer though.

I love Iris, and would love to add a few more to my garden.
