I am not seeing the price on the Mostly Miss Libby bulbs. Can you tell me?
PNW Sale list Got it Yet?
3 for $34
The paragraph on Mostly Libby is carried over to the next page...
I saw that and thought how awful it must be to get one of the new introductions mixed up with something else. At least she's figured out which audience will still be interested, lol!
Yeppers, I'm gonna be broke again... LOL
Could someone dmail me the email address for Jerry & Madeline Robirson (I think that is the name)

I let my membership lapse, but if *anybody* is willing to buy me
3 Circus Crowd
3 Lilium davidii (for Ed)
I would pay you back right away, plus postage and my first born is available! Pul-eeze!!!!
Suzy
They wanted the list returned so quickly this time, in order to make the day from the part of the country, you had to mail it pretty much the day you got it. Sorry Suzy! :(*
Kind of odd how it was handled. The people doing it for the last 10 years are "retiring" from that position. Will be interesting how it goes next year or this fall.
Almost like it was a last minute affair. If you did not fill out and send in the order the day you got it . It would not make the dead line.
Oh, well, thanks for trying kids, and I appreciate it..I have another line I'm going to try.
I was a PNWLS member for what? 3 years? I never ordered for either fall or spring sale, and only went to one meeting, so I let my membership lapse... mebbe I better try to get back in. :))
Suzy
Actually, it stated right on the order form that you could email your order in. Then just make sure they get the check before shipping. I didn't notice that until yesterday. I'm not ordering this time, but I have to say, those species are very tempting.
Leftovers are sold at the meeting on the 22nd, but I am reluctant to go up there anymore. My only vehicle is the gas guzzling truck and the round trip would cost me close to $50!!
When do they ship the bulbs you order.

They usually ship out about a week before the meeting (22nd). One year I received mine a couple of days after the meeting. I guess it all depends on when they schedule the work party to get them packed up.
I knew I should have joined!! I need Silk Road & Alchemy....drat
Has anybody received there bulbs yet.
Dennis
I usally get mine the last Saturday in March. It must be when they pack...
Nanny, Do you ever get into town? I think I have some baby Silk Roads. Assuming they made it through the winter and didn't drown. I don't think I have Alchemy...I get the red and yellow ones mixed up a little bit.
Suzy
Suzy,
Very rarely do we go to Indy. Avon and Brownsburg and occasionally Metropolis in Plainfeild are where we do shopping and what not. But....maybe...are you close to the westside? I am familiar with that part of town. Lived on the westside from age twelve until I was in my twenties. On the southside when I was younger so don't remember it well and it has all changed so much over the years.
Oh heck, I just gave in and went ahead an ordered one!!

Okay :)) Hers are much better, believe me.
Well, I just got back from the actual meeting-there was a good talk about soils from a retired OSU Prof who also worked as an extension agent. I picked up my bulbs and got to meet Pard! (I'm a tad taller, she's lots thinner... ;) ) We had a nice chat before she had to leave to start her much longer drive home.
How nice. Do many people go to the PNWLS meetings?
So this person walks up to me and asks if I drive a white pick up truck. I guess that identifies me!! Having been to several meetings, I'd say we had a better than usual turnout. Because of our speaker, we met in the chemistry lecture hall. What fun! There was a gigantic periodic table on the wall, I couldn't take my eyes off of it. One of our members also belongs to the Hardy Plant Society. He brought 3 potted Cardiocrinum giganteums for door prizes. I lost by one digit on the raffle ticket. Our summer get together is planned at his place in Portland and I have heard his yard is SPECTACULAR!
I didn't win the door prize, either-I never win the door prize. The reason I asked if Pard drove a white pickup is because we'd chatted about her truck after the lily wholesaler visit and I could NOT remember her first name. I know there must be other members from Albany, so just walking up to someone at a lily meeting and saying "Pardalinum?" might be a bit strange, but might not rule out someone else wanting to talk native lilies...
Intercessor-remember, they don't ship the local bulbs-we're expected to pick them up in person. I don't at all mind not having to pay shipping, anyhow. :)
You could have had a sandwich sign that read " SUSYBELL" , that would be strange though? :*)
Have you ever visited The Lily Garden's growing fields? They are in Vancouver,WA?
Actually, I have driven by them, but I was too late for most of the blooms. They're actually not quite in Vancouver proper. They're NE of town, if you look up a place called Hockinson, that will give you a good idea of about where they are. I think there are other folks who have actually visited the fields and such.
I got my box today! (dancing, dancing)
WOOOOOHOOOOO. I was out working in my lily bed just a few minutes ago.
Are they in decent shape/size?
