Patience Ginger!! I am having to use my film camera now to take pics since my dad is working again and needs the digital for documenting his work. As for badmition, I play hard on that game. Instead of lightly hitting the ball over the net, I hit it with everything I have. Drives everyone nuts when they have to play with me.

Brisvegas, Australia(Zone 12b)

From memory ,
If you stand on your base line and hit it as hard as you can ,
It`s nearly impossible to get it over their back line ?

KC Metro area, MO(Zone 6a)

I don't care where the ball goes just as long as it goes over the net. And hits whoever is in the path. LOL. Usually a cousin.

Clemmons, NC(Zone 7b)

ginger, you posted a very pretty pic on Carolina Gardening-what is that red lily?

Try to find another pic for you-this one is funny

You might not be able to see it, but the cougar is licking her lips!

I've grown all kinds of flowers, but few lilies

Have been ordering bunches, though, so that will change!

Brisvegas, Australia(Zone 12b)

One of my favorite lillies is the Day Lilly .
It is funny how you Umericans call them Lilies ,
Where as we say Lillies .
When I Google them , it shows them up as both .

I have orange, purples, a purple one I know for sure the name-Siloam Plum Tree, and a bunch other named ones I got for free from work but I can't remember what exactly I got. I will know when they come up since I wrote all the names down. Will post pictures when they bloom.

Brisvegas, Australia(Zone 12b)

If you ever get your Camera back .

KC Metro area, MO(Zone 6a)

The camera is my dad's. I was using it since he wasn't working and didn't need it. Now he will be working til April at least but I have my film camera. I have taken a few pictures with it but there's not a whole lot to look at right now unless you like dormant trees, brown grass, and a partially frozen lake.

Brisvegas, Australia(Zone 12b)

Quoting:
brown grass

Attention , Attention , Calling Stelco to this thread .

KC Metro area, MO(Zone 6a)

brown as in dormant. Won't start turning green again til next month.

Brisvegas, Australia(Zone 12b)

Does the door-mat have "WELCOME" on it ?

KC Metro area, MO(Zone 6a)

Nope. Just lots of mud. LOL

Clemmons, NC(Zone 7b)

Sorry to pop in here -those lillies are really nice..

I've not seen any like that around here-

Do you know the botanical name?
I want to grow some......:)

Brisvegas, Australia(Zone 12b)

Tropicanna , Pop away all you like .
One big family here . And you are one of US .
I`ll Google it and try to find its Bot. name . Kell

Brisvegas, Australia(Zone 12b)

OK Tropicanna

Zepheranthus grandiflora
(Storm lily, rain lily)
Clump forming bulb with large funnel-shaped flowers. Plant in early spring and leave undisturbed for as long as possible. Good container plant. As a child we were told that the flowers coming out were a sign that rains were coming. I must admit that when rain is forecast I still check for blooms. Likes to be root bound. Propagation by division of bulbs. Evergreen, hardy, semi shade
Pink flowers in late summer
Size: 20cm

Clemmons, NC(Zone 7b)

Awesome!!
I have a pack of rain liles downstairs-the same ones!LOL

No one grows them around here, cause you can't find them unless you order them, I guess

I traded with someone in Texas to get them. If there's any possiblity they would be evergreen here now I'm sure they are worth a try!

I have one kind of day lily from my Mom-it's a pale yellow
and asiatic-Stagazer, and some other orangey one-

I have plantomania,
Can't wait till spring
