Gold Fish Plant?

(Zone 1)

Does anyone know anything about this plant? I've had it for about 5 years and it wasn't looking so good this past summer, so I cut it way back and potted up some of the cuttings to see if I get roots (which reminds me, I need to look at them to see what's happening). When I first got it I think it was labeled as "Gold Fish" Plant and said it was a product of Canada. Hope someone can give me the correct name and I will be a good girl and put a label on it! Since cutting it back and re-potting, it is beginning to look pretty good, I think.

I have a small goldfish plant and the botanical name on the tag is indeed Nematanthus gregarius. Called that for the orange colored flowers that are shaped like a goldfish,it blooms in late spring to summer. It is a beautiful plant, I love the shiny lustrous foilage. I can not wait until mine is bigger like yours.

yes, i saw those 'goldfish' plants today at lowes, so beautiful...love the dark shiny leaves.
i shouldhave got one or 2
the reason i didn't is becuase they were small and looked like they grew up as opposed to hanging like a pretty vine.
i'll have to get some next time.

Thanks! You can get them at Jackson & Perkins!

Oh, and I have cut some lengths off of some of those that got a little too long. They root easily in water. :-)
