Well that is a fungi collection you have there Raydio!
I think I have some that look pretty much the same, I don't think I have a Boinnnng though. Isn't it strange we are having these at the same time, when you are having hot weather. Ours is quite warm, but there are the cooler misty dull spells intermingling, they must like that.
There seems to be many more fungi around than I used to have, fungi means a healthy environment for plants.
Can I play too?
How about a sugar covered jam doughnut, the wine bottle is missing but we have the cork.
Where do pictures of Fungi go?
Thanks wallaby for a delightful look at your fungi. I was smiling the whole time at your funny captions and had a couple good larfs, and I always appreciate that and people who make me laugh.
The one about applying make-up was the one that really cracked me up.
"You mean we just pile it on top of our heads like this?"
Robert.
Well now, just what would you do if you were a fungi????????????
That pumpkin contest looks like a riot. We don't have any contests around here like that but I wish we did.
And the fungi from across the pond enter the thread! Hooray! I love it. I loved the, "Hey cutie, wanna do the Dae sah Doh"!
LOL!
"That's right dear. Pile it on till it starts falling off. That's when you have on enough make-up."
Robert.
Fashion Fungi???
I thought I had seen it all!
You and your little captions crack me up.
Have you fungus friends read the book "Reflections on Fungaloids" by Betty Williamson?
I highly recommend it for anyone who appreciates mushrooms. Very beautiful and colorful artwork with interstesting stories. I gave the book to my sister as a gift last year and we both loved it.
Oh myyyyyyyyyyyy! Do you know the Latin name of that last one per chance?
the left reminds me of Queen Victoria, the right looks like a playing card character, the joker
Wonderful selection of 'shrooms!
That is HRH Victoria to a "T". I do so hope that it isn't a case of reincarnation! Can't quite make out who she's keeping company with, but then again, we don't run in the same circles.
Mr. Mesophilus is quite the oddity. I've never seen anything like that before.
Mr. Honeycomb fun guy--tee-hee! Quite a looker!
Joepye~ Thanks for the book note. Will have to get that one.
Robert.
You've got all the good stuff over on your side of the pond!
