I have gotten some hollyhock seeds from a DG member. I have perfect little spot that I would like to try them. Can I do so now? I have some other seeds that I wish to put in there also. Any tips would be helpful
Thanks
planting seeds now?
I would start indoors and wait untill at least a couple inches tall before putting outside . Anything that eats plants is already there up to and including birds . When they are big enought to plant , cut the bottom out of a cup from a fast food place [ Macdonalds . wendy's , carls , etc and put around plant .
I always put hollyhock seedlings (not seeds) out this time of year...get in some good growth before winter. If they can survive our heat, they should do fine for you.

Dawn
