My first sunburst Aurelian!

Neal ~ you have such a nice backdrop for your pics.

Ah, Gemini! so nice... Your cottage garden is very beautiful. Alas, I'll have to wait till next year to see all my new lilies bloom. I hope to add some more interesting ones to my new ones this fall.

Thanks Moby and Ticker! I'm so fortunate to live deep in the woods, and love the natural backdrop for the cottage garden.

'Dizzy' has just opened and I'm in love! What a dramatic beauty! I had'nt read in any description or noticed in any pic the thin line of color on the inside of the petals- sooo pretty. It reminds me of black raspberry swirl ice cream.

These monster stems of Bergamo are wonderful; well above nose level though. They have much more pink than last year too.

Some beauties there Neal! Dizzy is amazing, mine haven't opened yet, can't wait!

Bergamo looks very tall and strong, lots of buds, very nice!

Winchester, KY(Zone 6a)

Thanks Janet! Is this your first year with Dizzy too?

Lincoln, United Kingdom(Zone 8a)

Yep, I put them in my new bed, only two. I have Bellingham Hybrid between them which I thought was red, but it's a godlen yellow-orange. I love it, no scent but a real glow in the sun.

Some more beauties I've been anxiously awaiting have opened. This is 'Arabian Red'

'Zagorra'

This came in a mix, but I think it's 'Aruba'

Wow, I like that Zagora! and yes, I think your pink mix lily is Aruba. :) Arabian Red is very nice too. Aw, heck, I haven't met a lily I didn't like yet. :) Keep them coming!

One or two of my lilies that I planted earlier this summer is going to bloom. Yes, they will bloom on their 1 foot stem. :) Cute.

Nice blooms! I became utterly enchanted by Zagora this year. When the bloom starts to fade, check out the texture of the petals ~ it's substantial and feels like the softest leather.

gemini_sage,
Ohhhhhhhh, beautiful, especially the 'Zagorra' and the 'Aruba'.

Hmmm, Zagorra is the Zorro of lilies! I had to keep going back to have another look! It looks to have green edges, and I love green!

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

No, no green edges but I can see where you might think that. It's the softest, buttery yellow.

Moby, you were correct on my lily that was named by who I purchased it from is called "Luminaries". Had it confirmed by you and a friend in the cities who has jillions of lilies.
Sorry about the mix up!! wished when you purchased named varieties that they were what they stated on the package.
Wnat to take a stab at identifying another that I purchased in a collection. Tell me what you think? It looks like one from the Lily Garden.

Heres another one, if someone wishes to help me identify.
Forgot to add in above post and this that they are O/P's.

Maxine ~ my first guess would be Alchemy, maybe Caravan. 2nd pic looks like Anastasia.

Winchester, KY(Zone 6a)

Diann, is'nt it funny to see those big blooms on those short stalks. I had some bloom at 6" tall this spring. But you'll be amazed at what they do next year :)

Maxine, my guesses on the id of those beauties of yours are the same as Moby's. Love 'em both!

I'm enchanted with Zagorra too. I love the softness of the red and yellow, and that it's a soft red and not pink. Smells divine too.

Arabian Red has opened more blooms, and I love the rich, saturated color of it. Wonderful with the crimson rose and pink phlox nearby.

Getting ready to leave town for a week or two, and hoping I don't miss anything! So hard to leave the garden at this time of year.

Thanks for all of the help!
Now heres another one. also and O/P
