I'd love to have a tree in my bedroom infront of a window. I need something that will do well with window lighting and doesn't need a lot of humidity.
Something tropical looking would be nice and something that would fruit or flower (or both!) would be even better.
Any ideas?
Please recommend a tree
I know people sometimes grow dwarf citrus indoors--however I think they need a decent amount of light, so depending on which way your window's facing you may or may not have luck with them (most other tropical flowering trees are probably going to need similar conditions--if your window's not very sunny then you may be stuck with more standard houseplants)
I would recommend browsing Logee's website for ideas--they have a great selection of tropical flowering plants that can be grown indoors.
I can't figure out which direction the window is... Maybe I should get my compass. It gets a lot of light, I grow my cactus by that light.
I love the stuff in Logees but I don't like the prices, but it'll give me ideas. Thanks!
