Climbing up my gazebo. Seeing all your beauties makes me want to go and buy another Clematis. LOL
I also have a Polish Spirit..but seeing how it sprawls I think I need to put another trellis up to let her spread out a bit more. Mine sort of gets all a big tangled clump.

Bee's Jubilee grows on an old wagon wheel..and is in the shade so it doesn't get very bushy

This is the first time for her to bloom..just got 5 blooms this year. Got her last year and she didn't bloom at all..too much shade. So I moved her.
This is supposed to get some double blooms..and hopefully she will do that next year.

Nelly Moser..she is about 7 years old..and usually the first to bloom.
But this year Josephine bloomed first for me.

Carol!!..How gorgeous and yes you will get doubles on both VP and Josephine..but on vines that grew from last season..Love your Gazebo! We are building a Pergola today...got 3./4 done yesterday and the storm came!!..I want to plant my New Clematis on it!! Here is the before...we put the patio in ourselves last summer

Fly-girl..thanks..I first planted the Honeysuckle vine and it just wouldn't grow.
So I planted Nelly there but left the honeysuckle..and it finally grew.....

We have been trying to finish through the stops in the rain now..got it all framed and this morning put up the conduit with the electrical for the Ceiling Fan!!
Time to install the Lattice panels on top and whatdayathink?..As we all projects we had a hiccup and need to add boards across the center to be more stable for the panels!!..So Dh ran to the lumber store to get some more 2X4s...that is why I had a chance to post..LOL...I'm really starting to get excited...should be sitting under it BBQing tonight with a nice Martini~~....Thinking of what to plant..hey,now about a Grape vine on one side??... We are going to put this all around the fascia and then screw 1 x 2 s up the posts and attach lattice on all 4 sides makine "Lattice Column" for CLEMATIS!!
