And I'm curious to see if your other Tazzy seedling will bloom for me this year. Buds got frosted last year, but had a HUGE increase.

i need too water,but it just isn't possible with sand and the heat so early on .
my blooms only last a day ! sob !

I'm so sorry Tazzy. I'm having the same problem. It's been nice and cool and overcast and today the sun came out! Flowers are getting limp way too fast.

We got a inch Monday and about blew away.,
maybe rain tonight ?
My Desk Top bit the dust after storm
having to use my lap top and it so small i cant see any thing

we got some realy big hail

Don't you just hate that Tazzy when your photos don't turn out true to the amazing color of the flower? Black Widow is certainly a good name for that last one.

Black Widow is very dark at a distance it looks pure black .,up close it deep drark purple.

Tazzy did you really get hail that big or are you pullin' my leg?? I have never seen hail that big before. We had it once in the town I grew up in, but not out in the "sticks" where I lived. I remember it well because my mom and dad bought a brand new truck that got damaged in the hail storm........bought it at a pretty good discount even though it only had a few dents in the hood. ;o)

Those iris are beautiful! Love 'Black Widow' and the flounces on 'Inky Icon.'

Iris have finally opened here in Winnipeg. Two of Chuck Chapmans. Names are buried so can't read names. Have to do something about that.

Mgh , not pulling you leg those are out of our yard from Mondays Strom. we had hail from dime size to baseball ours were tennis ball size that is my husbands hands they are in
and he has big hands .
Thank God only one big hit the house and none got our cars ,
but other are line up to get windows etc. fixed it was scary
Hope 43 was coming in to her house and got whacked in head by one cut a big
gash in her forhead..But like she said thank heavens it hit me in my hard head or i would be dead! LOL

Mgh no she dint have stitches ,
her forehead is still sore and she bled a lot ,
due to blood thinning meds..The only damage i had was my desk top will not come out of hibernation i put in hibernate and turned power off and it will not come back on ,I'm on a lap top and it hard to see , i dint know what happen to desk top no power surges just wont come back on? drat

Tazzy--beds are bursting with clumps of dwarfs and Intermediates. WOW! Must be 40 blooms in every mature clump. Tall Beardeds are starting to pop too.

Where's the pics, Wanda???? I wanna see too! LOL

Finder's Keepers has caught my eye in this bunch of photos. Tazzy - - your irises are beauties. And that hail was something else. How awful! How scary! Are you crossing any of your irises this year? Do you have photos of your seedlings?

I just talked to Tazzy last night. Her main computer is down & she can't see what she is typing or read anything on the laptop. Her family has kept her pretty busy lately, but that is calming down. She's in the process of shoveling out her house so she can sell it.

Tazzy has a new place picked out that doesn't involve climbing a hill up & down to garden.

I'm so glad to hear that she is ok. I talked to hope43 and found out she is busy with family. Wow, she's selling her house? Will she get to take her new greenhouse with her? I hope so! Sure would be good to see her here soon.

Either she will have a smaller garden, or NO grass at her new place. at any rate, it will be easier for her to keep up. She tells me she needs more time to kick up her feet ! Tazzy said to say "Hi" to everyone...

I am tsill alive we bought a 16x80 trailer on a small lot . very little yard .
Cant keep up with big yard and old house anymore .
Have cleaning to do at old place and plants to move , big estate sell to hold .
other then that ? SAME OLD SAME OLD!
I am pooped but we are in new house love it
Hope i can sell old one fast ,
two house payments OUCH
will do pictures as soon as i find camera and get big pc up and working .
am on lap top first day im back on line since move !

Welcome back, Tazzy. Sometimes we have to make moves that in the long run will be best for all concerned.
I hope that you can still garden as I have loved your pics of your collection of iris and perhaps some day I can have some as great as yours.
