Just spent some time catching up with your photos Tazzy. And what a lovely time it was. I'll look forward to more!

Cedar Rapids, IA(Zone 5a)

Tazzy, your iris are breaking my heart---beautiful!

I have 6 little dwarfs leading the show--does that count?

And I'm curious to see if your other Tazzy seedling will bloom for me this year. Buds got frosted last year, but had a HUGE increase.

Western, WI(Zone 4a)

gorgeous iris, Tazzy. Just what I would expect from you. Do you have to water considering how dry it is your area now??

M

Sand Springs, OK(Zone 7a)

i need too water, but it just isn't possible with sand and the heat so early on .
my blooms only last a day ! sob !

Willamette Valley, OR(Zone 8a)

Isn't there some rain coming your way tomorrow and Saturday, Tazzy? I sure hope so!

Stanford, CA(Zone 9b)

I'm so sorry Tazzy. I'm having the same problem. It's been nice and cool and overcast and today the sun came out! Flowers are getting limp way too fast.

Sand Springs, OK(Zone 7a)

We got a inch Monday and about blew away.,
maybe rain tonight ?
My Desk Top bit the dust after storm
having to use my lap top and it so small i cant see any thing

Willamette Valley, OR(Zone 8a)

Well, I sure hope you get more than an inch, Tazzy......and I hope it doesn't blow away.

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

Wonderful Tazzy! I can see why Death by Chocolate is your pick of the year for the little guys. Such a mingle of interesting colors!

BLACK WIDOW

Stanford, CA(Zone 9b)

Don't you just hate that Tazzy when your photos don't turn out true to the amazing color of the flower? Black Widow is certainly a good name for that last one.

Sand Springs, OK(Zone 7a)

Black Widow is very dark at a distance it looks pure black .,up close it deep drark purple.
we got 2 more inches of rain . today
happy dance being attempted ?

Stanford, CA(Zone 9b)

Do the best you can Tazzy - or do a virtual happy dance. We'll do it together.

I just turned the sprinklers on today.

Tazzy did you really get hail that big or are you pullin' my leg?? I have never seen hail that big before. We had it once in the town I grew up in, but not out in the "sticks" where I lived. I remember it well because my mom and dad bought a brand new truck that got damaged in the hail storm........bought it at a pretty good discount even though it only had a few dents in the hood. ;o)

Those iris are beautiful! Love 'Black Widow' and the flounces on 'Inky Icon.'

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 2b)

Iris have finally opened here in Winnipeg. Two of Chuck Chapmans. Names are buried so can't read names. Have to do something about that.

Sand Springs, OK(Zone 7a)

Mgh , not pulling you leg those are out of our yard from Mondays Strom. we had hail from dime size to baseball ours were tennis ball size that is my husbands hands they are in
and he has big hands .
Thank God only one big hit the house and none got our cars ,
but other are line up to get windows etc. fixed it was scary
Hope 43 was coming in to her house and got whacked in head by one cut a big
gash in her forhead..But like she said thank heavens it hit me in my hard head or i would be dead! LOL

Willamette Valley, OR(Zone 8a)

Wow, Tazzy! I am amazed! So none of your property was damaged? I hope not! Good thing for your new roof! That picture you took is great......glad you though of taking it.

How is Hope doing? Did she have to have stitches? I do hope she is ok!

Sand Springs, OK(Zone 7a)

Mgh no she dint have stitches ,
her forehead is still sore and she bled a lot ,
due to blood thinning meds..The only damage i had was my desk top will not come out of hibernation i put in hibernate and turned power off and it will not come back on ,I'm on a lap top and it hard to see , i dint know what happen to desk top no power surges just wont come back on? drat

Cedar Rapids, IA(Zone 5a)

Tazzy--beds are bursting with clumps of dwarfs and Intermediates. WOW! Must be 40 blooms in every mature clump. Tall Beardeds are starting to pop too.

Willamette Valley, OR(Zone 8a)

Where's the pics, Wanda???? I wanna see too! LOL

Oro Valley, AZ(Zone 9a)

Finder's Keepers has caught my eye in this bunch of photos. Tazzy - - your irises are beauties. And that hail was something else. How awful! How scary! Are you crossing any of your irises this year? Do you have photos of your seedlings?

~Margie

Cedar Rapids, IA(Zone 5a)

One of Tazzy's TB seedlings is getting ready to bloom in my bed. It has increased greatly in 2 years, but I'm still waiting to see what it looks like.

I've doubled-checked .. and I've not noticed any posts from you, anywhere .. in a coons age!!

Where da heck have ya gotten off to - ? -

You are among a couply dozen folks that I've noticed are MIA.

Unless of course, most everyone has gotten super-involved in their (own) Regional forums, and don't venture out much, anymore ...

Show yourself soon .. to let us know sumthin' .. OK -?-

I just talked to Tazzy last night. Her main computer is down & she can't see what she is typing or read anything on the laptop. Her family has kept her pretty busy lately, but that is calming down. She's in the process of shoveling out her house so she can sell it.

Tazzy has a new place picked out that doesn't involve climbing a hill up & down to garden.

Willamette Valley, OR(Zone 8a)

I'm so glad to hear that she is ok. I talked to hope43 and found out she is busy with family. Wow, she's selling her house? Will she get to take her new greenhouse with her? I hope so! Sure would be good to see her here soon.

NW Qtr, AR(Zone 6a)

Many 'thanks' for the update on Tazzy .. Wandasflowers.

Yep, mgh .. hope we do also.

Either she will have a smaller garden, or NO grass at her new place. at any rate, it will be easier for her to keep up. She tells me she needs more time to kick up her feet ! Tazzy said to say "Hi" to everyone...

Laura

San Antonio, TX(Zone 9a)

Beautiful pictures, Ilove the wild form especially. The LA Iris Black widow, where could I find a supplier for this type?

Western, WI(Zone 4a)

Welcome back, Tazzy. Sometimes we have to make moves that in the long run will be best for all concerned.
I hope that you can still garden as I have loved your pics of your collection of iris and perhaps some day I can have some as great as yours.

Maxine

Rancho Cucamonga, CA

Tazzy, there's a few there that I'd love to trade you for. Let me know if we can work out a trade, pleeeeeeeeeeze!
