lavender?

Lately I have seen lavender for sale as an indoor plant. does it really grow and bloom and smell?

There are some varieties of lavender (Spanish Fringed, I believe, is one) that aren't hardy & thus have to be brought indoors for the winter.

While I don't know how well they'd "thrive" or whether they'd bloom, if you can provide them with the same conditions you'd give, say, an indoor Rosemary plant, they should do okay.
