When you find out let me know! I moved here 4 yrs ago and still have not found anything very impressive. When I lived in Missouri we had a lot of little import places Mexican to Italian pottery you could get nearly anyhting you wanted, Also many huge garden centers(some have a few acres of greenhouses, some have nearly 50+ acres under glass) with a lot of concrete Statuary and pottery from all over.

Well, I got impatient here and went over to GardenWeb, asked the same question. Got 1 reply suggesting Wilbur and King in Guilford. But I get the impression it won't be anything like what you describe above (WOW!). I would love to find a place like that too. I would like to see ceramic AND metal too. As for statuary, I can recommend a humble little pace on Route 1 outside of Niantic: Thames Imports. They do have alot of Victorian themed items. Some salvaged, some recent manufature. Quite a bit of cast concrete statuary. The interior of their store is great for furniture..they used to import alot of Eastern European wood furniture (vintage to antique). Now they have a fair contingent of Asian.

I grow nearly all my individual plants (and many bonsai, of course) in bonsai pots. You can find them in all price ranges. If you don't mind shopping online, try:

or

and then there's

and finally, to really drool over, there's

Thanks Al for the links. I will check them out. I do alot of online shopping but I like to choose pots in person. I checked out some places last night but nada. Sigh....Sounds like there is business potential. This area has always been hit or miss for goods and services.....Linda

I hear you, we are up here in the corner and there isn't even anything good in Mass... I am going to make this a quest now
It was a lot of fun in mo to shop for plants. You could find large nurseries in a small area driving no more than 10-15 minutes to get to the next one. Some in not so great areas, but the plants are very nice. We had a nice big chain of GCs too. I worked there while in college and then got a job at a botanical garden. Miss it a lot...
There is a place who makes concrete statuary, and it is beautiful you can get almost any kind and size of fountain you want. Many people have fountains in KC and also the city parks , and in the Plaza(modeled after Seville ,Spain)shopping area even more smaller ones. There are some very unique private gardens there.
