excess iris

Hi Louise!
I wonder if you have any iris left that I could get? I am on the hunt for one specific iris - 'Volunteer Fireman' but other than that, I'm happy to get anything!
Thanks!

Woodville, TX(Zone 8a)

Weegy, received my box of irises yesterday. Thank you so very much for your generosity. Now I just have to make space for them! Jenny

Hi Louise,

I need some help, please. One of the iris had a name I couldn't make out. It was ____ ___ched I think. Do you know what that could be?

Do you have a website for your sales?

Leslie

You are very welcome Jenny! Enjoy.

Yes, ednawaitsme! It is the thought and it was a very sweet one and the best part...totally unexpected. It looks so good in the garden. Thank you!

Rain, I don't have that one, but if you want a grab bag, just send the flat rate in snail mail, my addy is above. Ok? Thanks.

I'd love to have a grab bag! I'll send a check for $7.70 out tomorrow.
Thank you so much!

Concord, NH(Zone 5a)

I got my box yesterday also!! Thanks sooooo much. There was one I couldnt read. Looked like ------bikini?

Rancho Cucamonga, CA

Nanners, that was No Bikini Atoll. Sorry that some of the names have become shriveled for you all, but just ask me and I hope I can tell you what I sent you!
Ok, Rain, I'll send you some too!

Leesburg, VA(Zone 7a)

Am I jumping in too late to be part of the "grab bag" category?

Chapin, SC(Zone 7b)

Hi Louise,

Here they are in their new home! We put in a dwarf poinsiana and 3 carefree wonder roses to anchor the bed. The rest will be bulbs and lilies. The little silver spot has the iris you and Wandasflowers were so kind to share.

Thank you Very Much!

3rd time's a charm, now I see them! Thanks for sharing the photos, Leslie, I hope they do real good for you. (nice home!)
Karen in Jonesboro, will you D-mail me? You didn't send me your screen name and with all the D-mail I've gotten, it's going to take a year to go through it and figure out which one is you!!! Thanks.
I've sent everything that I have here, more will be coming next week. A lady called today and asked if she could donate about 200 rhizomes as she was pulling up all her iris's, what do you think I said??? I said, "Yeah, those people at Dave's Garden will want them!" So there will be more but I think they might be un named.
Enjoy everybody and happy gardening!

I want some,I want some. Send that lady a big cyber hug... With all the Iris I have gotten here I can't hardly wait to see all the different blooms. Thank you! Thank you Louise...

Oh Winnie I am with you, I had no iris before and now cant wait for next spring to see what I have received from here!

Utica, MI(Zone 6b)

I planted mine yesterday too!! dont really want to show off where they are planted.....cause it is only till i get my landscaping done in the back.....they are in a new plunking garden area.....the only area that i could come up with till the landscaping is done...either this fall or next spring......lets just say that i will have pretties on the south side of the house until the time comes....and it will dress up an area of yuk!! I had to plant them a little close together too.......hopefully this fall will be the time.......at least i will have to plant them farther apart before they get too big........just couldnt stand to look at them on the counter anymore.......knew they needed to be in dirt!!!! Thank you so much Louise!! I will definately post a pic of their spot soon.....the permanent spot!! I promise!

Rancho Cucamonga, CA

I will Winnie, just snail mail me and I'll more off to whoever wants them. I'll start on the other half of my big order tonite and I'll have some named ones for you too. Thanks for sharing photos and what you did with yours, it's so neat hearing and seeing it!

For some reason, thanks to you wonderful people at DG, my gardens are expanding! Looking forward to beautiful blooms and to eventually be able to share from my gardens. vonny53,
I got the same and the BF is Black Fantasy and the Splash is Splashcata. They are both cool iris! Louise told me the Black Fantasy is very dark. Hope this helps!
