Hey, llilyfan, is your computer up yet??? I goofed! "Dancing Eyes" & "America" are blooming & mysteriously each mismarked in the same bed! Gee, guess I'll have to keep my wits about me next time I plant, huh?

Springfield, MA(Zone 6a)

sadie, those are beauties. thanks for sharing.
oh lilyfan, will you be my friend and send me lily bulbs too?
;-)
debi z and franklin too,

Asiatic lily - Shiraz

Cindy, do you think my pink unknown is the same as your Shiraz? Would you watch as the blooms start to fade and see if they get some dark blotches on them like mine did? There is a photo above of the blotches. Thanks!

Love ALLLLLL your lilies....everyone's in part 1,2,3 & 4.....each of my Corrida stalks this year has an average of 23-26 buds on each stock!!! Totally unreal....right now I have 7 of my 25 kinds blooming.

Wow...I would love to wallow in your yard!

Portland, OR(Zone 8b)

I love your lilies! I can't believe how many buds you have on each stock. What's your secret? ;)

Millersburg, PA(Zone 6b)

Blooming today - a single pink lily.

And a country corner garden with tiger lilys and white chinese trumpet lily, daylilys, larkspur and poppies. ( Something for everyone)

se_eds, that is beautiful!! The blue larkspur is gorgeous.

Susan

Millersburg, PA(Zone 6b)

The larkspur mostly comes up from seed each year. Every so often I throw in a new packet in March. I mostly get blue ones.

Thanks, Susan.

We had a very overcast day but the rain went 30 miles south of us. My Chinese trumpet lilies are starting to bloom nicely, they are planted 12" deep.
Here is a white one.

This one is "African Queen". There is a good deal of color variation on this variety - sometimes the outer petal are more heavily brushed with maroon.

Here is "Pink Perfection". I love to pull weeds when they are blooming. The fragarence washes down over my back while I am working.

Our 7th week of drought has resulted in lilys that are not as tall, and have fewer blooms.

Beautiful trumpets! The smell is heavenly.

Lincolnitess and Perennial Girl - your photos are beautiful - don't you love this time of the year? Some people think of late June-=early July as the time of roses.

I only have one rose left. - They're too scratchy. Give me lilies and daylilies anytime - with a few coleus thrown in.

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 4a)

Thanks, se_eds. Your's are to!

Thanks Se_eds! Here is my first bloom on American Style. More of a red than American Dreams.

Here is my American Dreams again with a few more blooms open. It's hard to get the right lighting for this one because it shades itself.

White Henryi, one I've had a long time and love.

Nice shots Susan. At least you can see the sky in yours.

I took my pics sitting on the ground and shooting up - but forgot to adjust for the sky. LOL

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

Isn't it amazing what positions we will get into to take photos of these lilies! I'm just going out to plant some bulb I bought from eBay. Wonder if they will bloom yet this fall? Latvia and African Queen are joining my collection. See what happens when I start looking at everyones beautiful photos? If they bloomed just a little longer, I would find room for even more.

This one just opened up today. The flower is huge. Don't know the name of it.

This is American Adventure. It looks a lot like what was suppose to be American Style that opened for me yesterday. I am thinking they both may be American Adventure. My American Series seems to be rather mixed up, but at least they are all pretty!

I'm really enjoying your lilies vicariously. Thank Goodness that my daylilies are so lovely this year--I think I will just ignore the lily debacle in my yard...

Millersburg, PA(Zone 6b)

Both are beautiful lilys. My golden trumpet lilys are starting to bloom. Will try to get a picture and mark them this year so I know which is which in the fall. LOL

Norwood, MO(Zone 6a)

I don't know the name of this one.... the tag was lost over the past winter... rats... but I liked it's large soft blooms....
