My 'watched pot' finally boiled while it was unattended.

I have no idea of the name ~ take a stab at it if you care to!

I have no idea, Moby, but it sure is purdy! BTW, how was the MORU?

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

Maybe Apeldoorn?

Zone4 - no blooms yet.... pouting much here.....

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

Awww....it's OK Laura. They'll come soon... if it makes you feel any better, I tatted 4 of those loop-thingies!

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

My pink unknown is going crazy this year. The color has faded a little over the last couple days, but they are still pretty. There are so many blooms they can hardly open.

Wow Susan! I drove by this morning ~ guess I'm going to have to stop next time and have a look in the back too.

Oostburg, WI(Zone 5b)

Oooooooowwwwwwwwwwww ! that does make me feel better!!!!!!!!! Hooray!!!

Greenwood, IN(Zone 5b)

Wow Susan that is a terrific bud count for your "Pink Unknown". I bet they're very prolific in your garden. Very pretty.

Springfield, MA(Zone 6a)

susan,
you must have a big ol' smile on your face and a sparkle in your eyes, as you stand there admiring your lilies. :-)
debi z and little franklin who isn't feeling well today. ( he is in a lot of pain, poor puppy)

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

Moby, stop by anytime. I think in another week or so lot of lilies and daylilies both will be blooming. Lots of buds and scapes now, but only Lollypop, and a couple pink lilies in bloom and a few single blooms of daylilies here and there.

Anyone know what lily this one might be? I think it must be one I planted last fall and I seem to remember that it was featured on the back of some catalog, but I can't find it at Wayside Gardens, Parks or B&D lilies. Of course it may be a sold out one. It's a double pink flushed over white with spots. About 30" tall. Blooms are maybe 3.5". Sure is a pretty little thing. Can't believe I didn't label it.

Aphrodite comes to mind ~ lemme check....

Nope, not it. Closest I could find at the moment was 'China'. http://store1.yimg.com/I/lilybulb_1848_15033849

China sure looks like a possiblity. Hope I can find a list some place of what I ordered last fall. Thanks!

Central, KY(Zone 6b)

Moby that's a pretty one!

Susan, love that clump of pink ones and the pale pink double is so pretty and delicate.

I've got Lollypop that started blooming this weekend and noticed, when I was leaving this morning, that Medallion has one bloom.

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

susan, in the picture it looks pollenless, unless you took off the anthers. there is even the dark thin border.
she sure is a pretty lily.

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

I checked and it is pollenless, so I think it is China. It may be one I planted 2 falls ago and it did not bloom last year.

My unknown pink that is in the large clump above is doing funny things as the blooms age. The pink is fading in places and dark spots are showing up in other places. Have you seen this happen before?

Virus? I'd wait to see what Ken or Inanda have to say.

Susan ~ How does the foliage look?

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

Foliage is very normal, healthy looking, but every bloom looks like this. Wonder if the sudden heat did it?

Cedar Rapids, IA(Zone 5a)

Looks like a few lilies escaped the bunnies & frost. llilyfan had blooms in her beds this weekend--Eagerly awaiting blooms here in Cedar Rapids.

Portland, OR(Zone 8b)

This is "fellowship" oriental lily. All of these spikes (6 of them) are from one bulb I purchased last year. So fragrant :)

Those are very beautiful! I'm still waiting on my oriental to open up.

Castlegar, BC(Zone 6b)

Here is an Asiatic called "Lemon Pixie", that just opened overnight. My camera doesn't do it justice. It is actually a lot brighter yellow.
