A few of Clematis
Great series, trunnels. We have one puny little thing. It may be too wet here for them, but we keep trying.
How is your monster plant? The 8 I have doubled their size while we were gone.
Oh my gosh!! Well, it looks bigger every day. :-)

Mel
Mel,
I just got mine from KK's today and put in gallon pots until they mature a little. I was afraid they might get lost if I put them in the ground before getting some growth on them. Did you go ahead and plant yours in the ground?
Berrygirl, you are welcome. Hope you find it!
I did go ahead and plant mine in the ground, as I had some early in the season that I put in pots. They seemed to struggle, so when I put them in the ground, they really appreciated it, and started growing. They seemed to get lanky. One was so hidden in shade, that I thought it was gone! I cut back the lemon balm that I keep to shade the roots, and the clematis came up a week later.
I am still learning all of this about clematis, but I know that I am in love with them! I did put a stick next to the plant, cause yeah, you can't see where she is! I have to, or hubby thinks it's a weed and yanks them up.!
