pepperomia spike

Boulder Creek, CA(Zone 9a)

This is a spike of my pepperomia plant that bent over and seems "done"... Any idea if/how I might save its seeds? Dry?

Suggestions appreciated.

Oh this is really interesting. Mine has done this too and I was wondering the same thing. I'll keep a watch on this. Thanks for posting this.

Mine has done the same thing, but I've never thought about trying to save seeds for it.

WOW ---

In just 9 hours since I plucked the "spike" it has shrunken down to a much thinner spike and tiny black seeds have appeared and are starting to fall off onto a paper towel I put under it.

FAST!

Plucked the spike? What exactly does that mean?

Plucked might be a pretentious term for "picked"? Spike is what is shown in the picture...

:-)

Well I put it up high to get hot from the heater....

And I have a harvest of tiny pepperomia seeds for sure. Magnifying glass time. Will SASE 10 of them per member. I am in the Members address exchange area.
