Croton - flower stalk

Waxhaw (Charlotte), NC(Zone 7b)

I rescued a croton plant from the wife, and put it under grow light. It has been producing nice yellow foliage, and suddenly also a flower stalk. This flower stalk just started blooming.

Wow!! I didn't know croton bloomed at all! Neat.....thanks for sharing.

Believe it or not, i just noticed flowers on my this am. I have been seeing fruit, but not flowers until this am. Mine look just the ones pictured and from what I can see of the pic above, it looks about the same plant. So goes the constant miracles of the garden. Boy are we lucky to be a part of it all.
