Hi ,,,I don't peel my seeds most of the time. They seem to germinate better for me without peeling. You really don't have to soak to peel either. They are easier to handle when dry and not slimy. The small ones especially.

Have to say....you all are entertaining. I'm surprised you aren't planning a party for the winners with food, drinks, and bribes for cuttings later on. LOL!

Okay, I'm heading back to the clam chowder that I'm making.

Kingston, OK(Zone 7a)

Mine are full of fungus is why I wanted ro peel them. Got them soaking in 10% clorox solution. Dont think any of them will be good after all this time.

Hey Brugie- back to a previous post of mine about "the closest without going over..." there is now a "live" example:

Karrie and Liz posted at 3:53 and I posted at 3:55 with no one posting at 3:54. What if 3:54 was the time/date? Who would get it? We are all 3 within a minute. If it was "without going over," obviously those two would have tied. But if it's just who is closest, we all 3 won. See what I mean? :)

Dallas, TX(Zone 8a)

Now if the time is 4:03, then it's ALL MINE! :)

San Jose, CA(Zone 9a)

OK...back again...so it is the closest without going over???
ET, CT, MT or PT ???

Adrian, MI(Zone 5b)

Today is my hubby's 65 birthday!! I think he feels OLD!
A dark pink brug, for me, would surely cheer him up!!
I promise!!

Dallas, TX(Zone 8a)

Brugie established that it will be based on the time shown on her computer- that's really the only way it could be done I would think. So far the answer is it's just the closest time period. See my follow up question a couple of posts up!
