Ah Magpye, been waiting for more of your pics and dialogues. You are one of a kind and I enjoy your postings. Who else could create a story out of a mantis. If only we all had your ability to create out of what is at hand. This is really a gift.

Magpye, did you realize that "Praying Mantis" IS a musical group ? However, they are not of the likes of Mozart, Chopin, etc. Anyway, creativity often eminates from intellectuals that have too much free time on their hands. (That's a compliment !!!)

By the way, the chairman (praying mantis) of the "board" looks like he's ready for retirement ....or ready for the praying mantis cannibalistic ritual ???

Now when I see my first praying mantis in the garden this summer, I will be thinking how can I turn him into a creative photo endeavor ....

My left wrist'll swell and is still pretty tender .. so, I'm stayin' a bit 'guarded'. My typin's progressin' along .. that thar one fanger peckin' is fer da birds!! (*hee*) .. But, it won't be long, that I'll be back in the full 'swing' of things, soon ...

The ol Coot is being such a wonderful sweetheart - been offerin' to do my diggin' and plantin' for me - but ground is still too wet! But, we sure needed the rainfall!
All of the various trees are jes soakin' up every bit of moisture possible - to bud, leaf, and blossom out!
