calandrina

Whittier, CA(Zone 10a)

I have a friend who grows this plant, and we cannot find it on line or listed anywhere. It is a succulent, gets grayish-green leaves; somewhat spreading and mildly invasive. Grows up 18 to 24 inches, and has long thin stems with brilliant fuschia pink blooms on the ends.

Is any one familiar with it?

oop, the word calandrina did not appear in the message? Also, all I get are the words "hyperlink", and nothing in the space. I have looked up calandrina everywhere. Wonder if he has the wrong name.
