We are just harvesting our first tomatoes after all these years of travelling. I don't know which varieties they are because I bought them from a very small nursery run by a little old lady and she couldn't remember what they were. Life is good!!

Absolutely nothing beats a ripe tomato,still warm from the sun.It is one of the most satisfying experiences in all of gardening. Congradulations!

Sounds like the same little old lady who only drives her car to church on Sundays. lol

Melody.....I like my tomatoes cooled to room temperature....seems to give them a more intense flavor; but to each his/her own I say:)
