| "Hi, I have lived in the US for 5 years after leaving my home country of England and I think this is where I will put down roots!! We built a house on a couple of acres of pine and hardwood and hastily crammed many plants into the two existing front beds after we had amended the clay soil. I love cottage gardening and will try to emulate the garden I left behind!! At the same time try to marry this theme with the woodlands!! I also want part of the land to be devoted to wild flowers and vegetables. I have three cats, also from England!! My passions are old roses, clematis and perennials but I also love trees and shrubs!! I have a very soft spot for animals both domesticated and wild!!" |
