oh patty, what wise words of wisdom you speek.
My hubby always tells me she uses me and is selfish. But my understanding of friendship is you give, and the other will give even if it's not imediate. But looking at it logically she never really has been like that. She is very selfish, even with the kids, she comes first. Hubby keeps telling me not to put myself in a situation where she takes advantage of me, but i can't help it thats what friendship is to me. I suppose I just have to look at our friendship and realise where to draw the line.

As you said daisy, life goes on, its up to you how far you want to take this, and if your friend has felt guilty, good, its a start, if she is a good friend let it go, just remember it if the need comes again.

Yer, she did love it Patty. Didn't stop going on about it, which was nice. Thats what i do when my friends or their kids have birthdays I make them a cake as their prezzie...if they want me to that is.

I have had my feelings put through the mangle so many times theres nothing left, lol.

Good evening - anyone? You must be exhausted Patty, but I'm sure your efforts were well rewarded. The food sounded wonderful!! Hi Lisa. I know you had a good day. It was SO HOT here today. Its still 70 in the house! The cherry trees in the city were to die for! Poor Daisy, I can relate to her dilemma. I had a friend for about 15 years who did me wrong. Sometimes, its best just to let go Daisy! I hope Alan is sleeping - he must be exhausted. Well I will check the other forums and then come back!
