Any one have any idea how to grow one of these from a branch of the tree? Someone cut one down and I was just wondering if I could start it this way.........Thanks
Tulip Tree
Commonly know as the Popular Tree. I am sorry to say that it will not propagate. It only grows from seed. If you really want one you might be able to go to the place where you found the limb, and look for a small tree, and mark it and transfer it in the winter or fall to you're yard. It is a nice tree and grow rather easily.

Thank you. So far it seems to be a very interesting place. A lot of great topics. But I want have long to look at it, I'll be going to the Virginia Military Institute in May and my free time will vanish. lol But I'll teach my Grandmother how to use this site. She will be a great help to everyone, she is very knowlegdable about plants and gardening.
