Sipping my coffee, looking outside at all the trees turning colour, feeling blessed!

Nothing of fall remains inside, trying to decide if I like Halloween decor just as well..

Well I scheduled a break, I thought I was cleaning craft room but but but lol

Does this happen to you, start cleaning work space then end up with so.many projects you find that work area is a disaster

I found so many trade blocks that are next to be made as a Christmas quilt and will be treasured for sure. Think there are enough non Christmas blocks I can also do a throw. Amongst the pile of orphan blocks are 3 different sizes of the block I'm doing in round robin, mine is running big time, I will incorporate them somehow

i did pick my jar "to do", was doing all the mirrors, regardless.what product I us.you can still see streaks, what do you use?

Realized Sunday when girls did their projects that the Santa would be far too complicated fo the kids December 1st so I bought a package of printables on line and used the.snowman that doesn't have white framing around photo, much easier.for.them.and.also.forr this lady.

When it dries I will see how the can decorate it, think easily done in 3 hours considering drying time

Thanks for the new thread Betty.
I love your decorations.
I use vinegar and newspaper to clean glass with. I use half vinegar and half water in a spray bottle. Crumple the newspaper and wipe.

These attack come on without warning, just woke up
Going to make a hot tea and see if that settles my tummy, thanks for the concern

Just hate this, scope on November 11th at 2:00, sure hope they find something but highly unlike

Specialist says sometimes with these tests do is shows what it isn't like cancer etc but not all the time do they show what is wrong sometimes it's something you just have to live with

(Pat) Kennewick, WA(Zone 5b)

"living with it" sounds like a rotten plan.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

What are your symptoms Betty?
Praying you are feeling better soon.

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

No, "living with it" sounds like an awful plan. Hopefully you can have this managed for you.

Feeling much better, still eating soup/jello and ice cream so not starving.
Sharon dropped in with a friend Ellen Whois here for a week from Nashville,Sharon picked her up at airport yesterday morning. Then Marie came in, celebration of life for her sister is tomorrow, would have had Susan’s block done had i not had company, just ate and Ezra will be here at 1:30 to try and finish his costume, here is hoping we do, so unless i get energetic after he leaves block will have to wait.

Sooo fall out there

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Glad to hear you are feeling better.

(Pat) Kennewick, WA(Zone 5b)

I started going thru my 2023 fall & winter clothes. Guess I need to start buying some stuff that fits, they are not flattering. Why lose weight if you don't intend to wear clothes that FIT.
Marie and I have a whole rack of clothes we need to advertise. I have 2 long black dresses that have never been worn. I have the black dress from Kevin's wedding and more... We have some beautiful sweaters.

Just finished with Ezra, he wanted to make a She-ra costume, with my help he just left, happy camper and big smile on his face, I wanted to work on Susan’s block but way too tired and still need to figure if I will take what I’ve done off o not, tomorrow is another day!

Ziggy is laying watching me, too early for bed, should look for a slipper patter, maybe I can knit for a bit, I usually find that relaxing. I often find it I go to bed early and get up about 5am i am much more productive

Betty - just phoned you & left a message. Ezra looks good in his She-ra costume!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

So far, 3 female gray puppies, 1 male black.
Best photo i can get for now.

Linda, did you have your dog bred again? I didn't know you were expecting puppies! Am I just forgetful? (oh wait, don't answer that! LOL)

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

Pat - I didn't remember either. We're both "having issues" I guess LOL

Nice, Linda Kay :)

Morning, been up since early morning, stays dark, sunrise 7:45a.m.
Long day with the sewing kids then i will set up for tomorrow mornings craft with Brenda and Tanya.

Lindakay, is this Litter from your sons dog? They are just too cute, little balls of fur... hope are are doing well.
Susan answered you on the Round Robin thread.

Overhead photo of fall taken overhead, thought you might like to see the Martyrs Shrine 8n it’s glory, about 5 miles from me as well as what we are known for, World’s best sunsets

Beautiful photos Betty.
No, we didn't know she was in heat while we were in Florida this past August.
Lizzie had 9 puppies, but one was stillborn.
She has 8 Beautiful puppies. 4 black, 4 gray. She is doing really good with them. I will try to get better photos soon.

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

Beautiful sunset and what colours in the trees! I've often heard that Ontario has the most beautiful Fall colours

Victoria Harbour, ON

Glad to hear birth went well, sad about the stillborn, that was a lot of puppies. Now comes work for you, am sure you enjoy
It though,,

Lordy, keep looking at the time, I'm wanting to go to bed already and it's only 4:19

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

So far Lizzy has been an awesome momma. Still lots if work for us, taking turns cuddling those precious puppies, keeping the bedding changed in the whelping box...

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

sorry about the stillbirth. 8 healthy pups though, and Lizzy being an awesome mom is a plus :)

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Thank you.

Victoria Harbour, ON

How are the puppies do during the night Lindakay, did it mean you had to stay up to make sure all were being fed?that is a lot of pups for Lizzie to feed.

Pat what have you and Marie been up to?

Deb, i just love seeing the photo’s of your show dogs.

Must send a note to Sharon (Vegas) , she send me mega hint/ideas for my crafting and kids crafting, i also went back to previous posts i missed when i was without my iPad then sick, she must think I abandoned her.

Susan, a block is doable to square on small surface but anything more really does need a half decent sized table, going to seniors space might help.

Early morning, when i couldn’t get back to sleep at 4:30am I decided it was up and at it. Have the lasagna made, ready for oven at 11am, cleaned what needed to clean upstairs and now waiting for 8am to go to food land for fresh muffins and rolls then I’m ready for the lunch portion of Brenda and Tonya’s visit for crafting. Might even have time to work and finish Sharon’s Christmas round Robin block so with coffee in hand downstairs I go, I’ve Christmas pieces all over the place down there that need finishing, looks like Santa’s workshop minus the working elves

Getting too comfy on this couch, best i get up and on with my day and should all be ready I can maybe get 1/2 hour nap before girls arrive.

Grayson and Hope trick/treating in Midland yesterday, Grayson did not enjoy, was cold out but much frightened him

Hmm photo’s must be on phone, will go look

Puppies did good during the night. Lizzie takes good care of them.
Those costumes are so cute.
Sounds like you have another busy day.

Victoria Harbour, ON

Great Lizzie is able to feed them all.

My cousins just left, enjoyed crafts and lasagna, was thinking of having a hot bath, grab a blanket, put fireplace on and get comfy..tired

Dianne, have you been firing up the wood Stove? Brrr wind is up and it’s cold, someone said they saw a few flakes

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Rest up. You got up early this morning.

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

Betty - I'm squaring up the quilt I'm making for Michelle & Lonnie. So far it's 34 x 41 1/2. Working on it in stages, on my sewing machine table, and my design wall.
It's 22c now / 71.6F - really nice & warm out.
Does anyone else here get Box Elder (aka Maple) bugs? I just found a "nest" of them outside my den door, in the bottom corner of the framework.. UGH! We have an infestation of them throughout the entire town, including the Senior Centre. Every morning when I open up for coffee, I'm sweeping/vacuuming them up, mostly from window ledges, but also all over the floor. They don't go after food, but stink when squashed (good thing I don't have a sense of smell). I sweep them up & throw they outside (I know where the bodies are hidden mmmmmmwahahaha!). They're disgusting.

Never heard of that bug. I guess because we don't have maple trees down here.

I had LOTS of the box elder bugs at my house on Jean. The Silver Maple tree provided ALL that food in the way of dropped seeds. If I could have kept the seeds swept up, I would have probably had less bugs.

Victoria Harbour, ON

Hmmm, never heard of that bug
Mighty cold here, one would think it could snow
This morning was a chiropractor for 7:30 then dropped my car off for oil change, fall8ng asleep nut fighting it, hoping he forgets to come after school for his sewing class, cross your fingers he forgets 🤪

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

I had an eventful day today - went for an hour's drive to Red Deer & (through Marketplace) bought a huge Boston fern, a canopy for over my bed, and a Begonia Maculata - brand new cuttings just planted. It's a plant that was in my house growing up. It'll get to 5 to 6 ft tall. I got the canopy put up & I'm thrilled. I'm a romantic at heart.
