Helena, your blooms are stunning.

These spammers are getting bold. Advertising illegal crap. I hope they get arrested.

Gautier, MS

Thanks Jackie and Linda.
Jackie I tried but the info on my phone doesn't have the guides word to go to.
I'll have to go to my computer to see if I can find it there.
Jackie 2 posts from
Spacer above Linda's post.
First bloom does look similar to BK.

Helena, Love the dark color of the BK or Bk lookalike.
I've reported this new spam to Melody
Let's see if I can create a link, something I'm not very good at.

From a new bloom yesterday, I can see that my last new pic was a lavender Silk.,a
very light colored bloom turning to pink as the day wore on.
Today I have a new vine opening a new bloom, The tag is marked my AOG, a special seed for me. Translates to the seed looked strange when I gathered it, a different color or something. It's a mauve color. I wonder if it was pollinated by Mauve Splash.
This seed from 2015 and the only one in my seed pkt..

Oops, forgot to send a pic of the Lavender Silk, a new bloom today.
This was the one I called softest pink yesterday (it's 1st bloom)

Beautiful blooms Jackie. Love all the colors. Glad your getting blooms on your vines.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Jackie, those are so pretty. Glad the hummers like them. I wish I knew how to get hummers here in Amarillo. I have had feeders out for almost a year and a half. Plenty if flowers for them. Not one has showed up yet.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks ladies. So glad to be getting blooms Helena.
Linda, I don;t know why you don;t get hummers in your area. You might check with any local Audubon Society in your area.

I have talked to other friends in different parts of town. They all have hummers. I will keep trying.

Gautier, MS

Jackie, thanks for the link. I did get to find the guide and plant files, surprised to see only 16 pages of inpomoea nils. It seems that there use to be a lot more than that. Also did find that there are lots of batatas listed but no pictures.
My only mgs this morning.

Linda, I don't know what to think about your lack of hummers
Helena, the batatas, sweet potatoes, are in the ipomoea family too.
Logees used to sell some lovely sweet potatoes, ornamental, the lovely variegated one, I haven;t seen that one offered in a while.
we see Marguerite, I think it's the green one and the pretty red leaved one in the box stores in late spring, Given enough sun, they do make pretty morning glory type flowers.
Love your tiny orange blooming mg,

Beautiful blooms Helena. Is that a cardinal vine?

Gautier, MS

Thanks Linda and Jackie.
I'm letting those mgs come up, kind of wild area. That's ipomoea coccinea, Linda. Hummingbirds love them, actually my first mg to grow around 1985.
Jackie, I was just surprised that the had so many with I'd names but no pictures.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Thanks for the name Helena. I have never heard of it before.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Helena, yes kind if surprising that they provided no pics.

Lovely swallowtail butterfly. I dont understand why we have barely had any butterfly's here, very unusual. https://iconic-vision.co.uk The 1irst warm days in May we had a few, none since to speak of.
nice to see a variation of Milky Way.

Thanks everyone. I love the visitors to my garden.
Two blooms this morning. The ipomoea nil seem a little darker than picture shows, not pink. I thought it was chocolate silk.

Helena, that's not a new post above yours. It;s my post from several days ago
They used my post and then made a link, do you see it? Don't click on it, It may be harmless, but better safe than sorry, They could have made their own post, and not hijacked mine.
Gorgeous blooms above. Love the soft pink.

The posr (mine) they stole is from the 1st day of this thread July 26

Beautiful morning glory blooms Helena.

Gautier, MS

Thanks Jackie and Linda.
I did think that post was odd with a Link. I didn't click on it.
I have become a early riser. Too dark to go outside. Yesterday I did get a picture of a butterfly feeding on camelia patent. I had several different kinds in the afternoon, but they are fast flyers.
Leaving today to visit with my daughter just for the weekend.

Running behind today. Pretty soft color on your mg Helena.
I remember when you grew quite a few Salvia's. We hardly
see them at the box stores anymore. I don;t think I saw impatiens or
the pretty moss that my mom loved for sale either.
A few blooms today

Helena, gorgeous blooms . Love the shibori's # 1 and 3. Milky Way # 2
lovely soft color of the pink and I can tell the soft blue is striped, love it.
A day or so ago, I had something new, must have been the blue and white Fuji, it was so tiny only 2 and 1/2 inches across. I was so disappointed I didn't even bother to take pics.
Here's a few from today # 3 is growing in the ground, I keep wanting to call it Ben Chidori but don't think it is or if thats even a real name. Its from dropped seeds from last yr growing in a pot close by, can't think of it's true name,
