Hello, I'm new to vegetable gardening and recently planted radicchio. Can I clip some of the outer green leaves that it's growing now to eat raw in a salad or is only the inner head that will eventually form edible?
Thanks for any advice!
Radicchio red preco outer leaves edible?
They are edible and good in salads. I like them as a chiffonade with mixed greens. However, you won't be able to tie up and blanch the core if you cut many outer leaves.
