I am in Currituck Co, NC. I have a pack of "Ferry~Morse" brand lemon cucumber seeds I want to plant. Has anyone on here tried them and if so, can you please give me any tips and tricks on how they do in this climate?
Thank you very much in advance,
Cindi Marshall
Seed question
Have not grown that variety but I would expect them to perform in similar fashion to ordinary open pollinated types. Cucumbers require more water than other vegetables. The major pests here are Downy Mildew and pickle worms. If memory is correct, you would be on the coastal plain. Our climates should be similar.
