Morning Glories 2022 #08

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Sorry too about your seeds Helena. I haven't even tried, too busy here. I didn;t even get to put up a Christmas tree. Was all I could do to keep my greenhouse warm during the bitter cold. Glad it;s gone for now.
Linda, so hoping for a better yr this go around.

Happy New Year ladies.
I'll have to try again when I'm up to it. Too much else to do so getting things done but by bit.
I'm glad it's warmed up some here too.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Glad you're getting a few things done Helena. I'm trying to get rid of papers I've kept that I don't really need. I'll be looking at taxes before too long.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

It was 82 here yesterday.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Linda, we were close, around 76 and again today, sure was nice. One more fair day here and then cooler temps return. As long as it doesn;t get bitter cold, i can stand it.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Hope it doesn't get too cold.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Our weatherperson said he doesn't see any bitter cold coming, hope he's right.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Were either of you near the tornadoes last night.

Gautier, MS

It's been pretty warm here too. It was gloomy though. I'm too close to the water to get tornadoes. But there was one in the town that did damage to one building. Usually they hit a bit north of here. I know it gets bad at some parts.
Hope you get your papers done Jackie. Hope it stays nice for you too Linda.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Glad to hear you are ok.
70 for the rest of this week. Mid 40s at night. Not bad.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

I have a sibling in the hospital so haven't got much done. Hope she gets to go home soon
Linda. I think we had some damage south of us.. No serious injuries or fatalities though so good news.
Our temps going down to the 50's, we can handle that

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Praying she gets to go home soon Jackie.
Glad to hear no major damage or injuries.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Linda, I tried to post last night but couldn't get past preview!!!
So aggravating. I didn't hit preview, i hit post for ALL the good it did.

Lots of issues here. Very few left. Everyone has gone to Facebook or Instagram.

Gautier, MS

Hope all is well with your sibling.
We have beautiful sunny days cool to cold mornings but warm ups by noon. I worked outside the other day, felt like early summer.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Nice and warm here today. 76 right now.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

A lot of the old timers especially have left
My sibling very sick with her heart, I just keep praying.
It's not as warm here but 50's and 60's sure beat that bitter cold

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Sorry to hear she is sick. Will keep you both in our prayers.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks so much Linda.. This is very scary for her and all of us siblings. They now have her in rehab trying to strengthen her heart. If that doesn't work, the cardiologist says he has a couple of things to try, We're trying to keep her spirits up.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Keep us updated please

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Will do Linda, thank you.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Got my hands full here, hope you 2 are ok.
I have ochracea blooming can;t even get time to get down there to take pics until it;s dark thirty.. The flash just ruins my pics

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Praying you are both safe from the storms that went through yesterday.
So much damage shown on the news.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Linda we lucked out here, the storms missed us.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Glad to hear that.
