A pretty sweet potato which is in the same family as our mg's. It also came
from Farmers Market
My special Begonia, B. Phantom, pretty after all the rain but not showing her markings, too much shade on the porch # 3 and 4
A soft pink almost white water lily

Thanks for the new thread Jackie.
Beautiful flowers.

Thanks Linda and you're welcome.

Mgs from this morning. Then I checked my rue, dill and fennel and found a tiger swallowtail caterpillar on the dill. So I had to go to a nursery next town over and find more dill and fennel and adopting a few more tiger swallow tails too.

Hope yours open soon. It's been hot and rain here so the leaves of mine don't look good.

Gautier, MS

Thanks Jackie and Linda.
Love your Aogakiyama x choco bloom Jackie. It is very pretty. The lily too.

Thanks Helena, your blue mg is an eye catcher and I like the small lavender too.
My Aogakiyama x chocolate opened 3 more blooms today.
One wasn't pretty but I liked the other 2. One looked more blue, very strange
and one had a larger white margin/border.
My last, night blooming orchid cactus

Jackie and Helena, your blooms are beautiful.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Linda.
I had a new bloom this morning from Blue Lavender Beauty. It's not pretty
at all like my blooms of old for this one. Very disappointed. What's missing is the darker lavender in the throat
On the other hand, my Aogakiyama was lovely. It had signs of Mauve Splash
in it's pattern.

Those are beautiful colors and patterns.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Linda.
What was supposed to be Aogakiyama x Choc Silk# 2 is not!!!
I think this is my Spec Mg, so named because I don't have a clue to its real id and I love it. I may just have the name tags switched.
Another blue Lavender Beauty open
My lily opened up another bloom or two.
Enjoying my Phantom Begonia.

Beautiful morning glories and lily blooms. That begonia is really pretty.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Linda

Gautier, MS

Jackie, I love all your Ao blooms, really gorgeous. Your blue ones too. Your begonias is really neat. So glad to see your blooms opening up.
I've been busy...and extra work with my caterpillars.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Helena, I understand being too busy, I can't get it all done that I need to,.
I LOOKED at the wrong plant tag. what looks like Purple Star is Kosmic Kell
A new bloom on Blue Lavender Beauty.
Pic # 3 is what happens when I go out and it's over 90 degrees. I have to leave my camera outside 4 or 5 minutes to adjust to the heat b4 I can get a decent pic.

Beautiful blooms Jackie. Is your cosmic kell purple or blue? When I grew it, the color was purple though I wanted blue.
Had the same problem with taking pics with my camera.

Thanks Helena.. You know I think it was purple but now I;m not sure..
Will try to look closer the next time it opens a bloom. Certain shades of purple look blue to the camera for some reason.
Gorgeous blooms on your Hibiscus and I love the new lily that's just opening.
Is that your Jacobina making those pretty pink blooms?
Your Queen Annes Lace still blooming.?
My other spec mg opened a bloom this am but not a special bloom at all

Beautiful blooms ladies. Lovely colors.

Gautier, MS

Thanks Jackie and Linda.
Jackie that is a menards I got from walmart. I was surprised to see them selling that so had to get it.
I think your special mg is really pretty.
Heavy rain here last night so my new seedlings got drenched.

Thanks Linda and Helena.
Your Pink Monarda is a beauty, looking a lot like my Jacobina
No mg blooms open for me this morning. I have a Peaches and /Cream Brug that has at least 5 blooms open. will try to get a pic later.
We were so lucky Helena to miss out on most all of that heavy rain yesterday
At least you wont have to water your seedlings for a while. :-)

Gautier, MS

Glad you missed the rain Jackie. It's going to take a while for the ditches to dry out. But the plants in pots dry out a lot faster.
Hope to see your bruh pics.

Just wanted to say thanks for your prayers for my brother. He passed away this morning. He is now pain free.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Linda, so sorry to hear this, very sad but a relief that he's no longer in pain.
My deepest sympathy to his entire family.

Helena I did grab a few pics of my variegated Brug

Thank you Jackie.

Those brugs are beautiful.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Linda
That was the biggest flush I've ever had on a brug.
The blooms were going from white to a cream,. some looked pink to me, then to
a yellow which will turn peachy

Gautier, MS

So sorry to hear your brothers passing Linda. Relief also from his pain. Prayers for and his family.
Beautiful blooms Jackie. That is a nice flush of blooms.
I bought this Texas star thinking it was going to be red, so I was surprised that's a white one. I did collect seeds from a red one last year growing wild but my seedlings are still very small.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Beautiful Texas star. Don't think I have seen a white one.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Helena.
A lovely white Star Hibiscus. Been seeing more and more of the white one.
It would make a beautiful display when grown side by side with the red one.
My local Farmers Market is selling both this yr.
My only mg blooms for the past 3 days came from this Blue Lavender Beauty
My Calliandra never makes seeds. The 1st one I had from a local nursery many yrs ago set tons of seed pods.

Beautiful blooms Jackie. I hope you get seeds.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Linda. The mg will set seeds but not the Calliandra.

Gautier, MS

Thanks Jackie and Linda.
Pretty bloom from lav blue and calliandra.
My calliandra had a flush of blooms the other day. It probably would be better to start a cutting from the plant Jackie. I have a small plant that I started from seed but it has been slow to grow.
A nice bloom for me this morning. Maybe a few blooms got pollinated to make seeds.

Beautiful blooms Helena. Hope you get seeds.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

A lovely flush of blooms on your Calliandra Helena. I love the pink and white mg
too. I might try to root a cutting of my Calliandra, seems like I tried before without success.
This one came from Logees and might of been seed grown.
I've got a lull in my next blooms on my mg's, don't know what's up with that.
I've never had to feed them b4 but I might have to give them some super bloom.

Gautier, MS

Thanks Jackie and Linda.
Can't hurt to try taking cuttings Jackie.
Blooms from this morning, queen Anne's lace still blooming and see seeds drying.
