Hi! Pretty new plant-person and pretty bad at it too! I can't get my plant to come back to life and I cannot remember what the plant is called. It has been overwatered and then dried out by direct air from the heater. Is there anything I can do to keep if from dying??
Please Help Me Save My Plant!
It appears to be Mandevilla/Dipladenia. I would start by removing all the dead leaves and vines so you can see what looks viable and go from there. I barely water mine in winter indoors and I've had it for a few years. Just wished it would bloom heavier in summer. I just prepped it for bringing indoors last week and had to cut off a lot of top growth and will probably have to trim it at least twice while indoors.
Mines hanging in my greenhouse for winter. I would not keep plants by a heater vent, dry out too fast if not sometimes the foliage gets roasted dry too. It probably should be by a window too as I imagine it would get lanky.
