Kosmic Kell, thanks Helena for sharing your original seeds from Catalyst Switch

Beautiful bloom Jackie. Your welcome. I'm glad you got the true Kosmic Kelly. When I grew it the color was more purplish than blue.

Beautiful blooms from the other thread too Jackie on your LYK and the light blue.

The yellow butterfly I'd like to take a pic is also a swallow tail. It's huge. I think I see the sulphur butterflies here, I just don't pay much attention to them. Of coarse they are pretty too.

Thanks Helena, I cant even remember what the original Kosmic Kell bloom looked like it's been' so long.
I posted about your beautiful Roses on the bottom of thread # 7.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Thanks for the new thread Jackie.

I love all the beautiful photos you are both posting. And that butterfly is beautiful.

Gautier, MS

Thanks Linda. Thanks Jackie, I read your post on thread # 7 but thought I comment on this newer one. My roses started to bloom after a rest from the heat.
I found some old seeds on bought purpureas and deciding to direct sow them into pots and see if they take. If they take might still get blooms by fall.

Beautiful blooms Helena. Those roses are so pretty.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Helena, glad you posted here on the new thread and that's always best so the older thread doesn't get any larger.
Beautiful blooms. Love the white with the soft pink.
Gorgeous Roses too and Rosebuds.
Helena, I hope you can get blooms by fall.
Old pics from 2013
My tree mg's b4 I did something stupid the next yr and lost it.
Linda has sent me some lovely replacements and they're already getting large.
Thank you Linda

Thanks Linda and Jackie. I love roses too.

Beautiful blooms Jackie. Always loved the color of Aogakiyama and the grey ones too. Never have had much luck growing the tree mg, always seems to die on me. Pretty Queens Annes lace is so pretty.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Helena. The Aogakiyama resembles Cocoa Chocolate a lot.
Wonder if they are one and the same.
I love the Queen Annes Lace but it's very invasive.
Good thing I didn't dig any up to bring to the house,

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Beautiful photos ladies.
Jackie, glad to hear the plants are doing ok. Didn't know how they would ship in this heat.
Helena, I have plenty to share if you would like to try again. Let me know.

Gautier, MS

I agree with you Jackie about Ao and Coccoa choco. I do love the cross of Ao and Mauve Splash though. That's a pretty clump of the Queen Annes lace, I never planted any but I have found it growing in my pots from time to time.

Thanks Linda for the offer but I'm going to pass. I already have too many plants to care for. Might not be able to fit them all in my gh.
Lots of orange color, can you find my tiny frog blended in with dirt.

Beautiful blooms Jackie. Love the color of your Cosmic Kell, hope you get seeds from that one.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

I love all the photos being posted. And that frog took me a bit to find. We have big toads here. No frogs.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Linda and Helena. Helena, forgot to tell you my Kosmic kell is more
purple too. I don;t know why my camera turns the bloom blue when its purple.
If catalyst switch's blooms looked blue, I bet it was her camera changing the colors
too.
Linda, I've got tons of small toads

Gautier, MS

I don't like it at all when my camera changes the color of the bloom.
I have toads too, a big one was in under leaves in a pot when I was removing the leaves it jumped out. I just moved it to a different spot, I was wearing gardening gloves, they are beneficial in the garden.
No mg blooms for me this morning.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

I never harm anything outside unless it is a rattle snake. We see one maybe every 4 to 5 years. Tarantulas and scorpions are safe outside. Now if they get in my home, they won't leave alive.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

We respect all forms of life. DH won;t even kill a spider, carries them out of the house with a kleenex or paper towel. He has raised orphaned baby squirrels.

My supposed Blue LYK opened today and it looks more lavender than the one I;ve been calling Lav LYK. In fact, that one looks more blue

Wonder is the bees cross pollinated it? They are beautiful.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Linda. I'm sure the bees are doing the deed. they get up a lot earlier than I
do.
I should start seeing new vines open their blooms soon.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

This is marked Incredible Blue, don't believe I did this. I'm
letting my vines get too tangled

Gautier, MS

Beautiful blooms you are getting Jackie. Glad you are getting blooms from newer vines. Love them all.
Really enjoying seeing them.

Nothing new for me here. Getting lots of rain though.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Linda and Helena.

Love your gorgeous blooms Jackie. Look huge and beautiful. I like when it's good surprises.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Helena.
These 1st 2 pics deformed because of the spider mites.
My Special mg from last yr. I had 2 and they started out making different blooms, later each vine often made the same blooms the other vine was making. This vine is no exception with 2 different patterned blooms. #'s 1 and 2
# 3 Blue Silk
# 4 Pink TDye
# 5 Black King

Oh my! I love all your morning glory blooms. They are so pretty.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Linda.

Gautier, MS

Beautiful blooms on all your vines Jackie. Neat patterns on your first vine, wish the bugs would not be so attracted to mg vines.
The first set of pics are from yesterdays blooms. My roses and todays mgs. My mgs vines inside are doing good vining but no buds yet. I'm soaking Blushing Bride seeds to start.

Thanks Helena, beautiful blooms on your vines this morning. Love the split petal
bloom and the lovely higes. Incredible Roses that you're growing. wish I could,
Especially love the white hige with soft pink in the last collage and the
violet nil
Had a few blooms this morning, 1 new one that my pic didn;t turn out so I'll wait on that one.

All repeats

Thanks Jackie. I still have a few of these roses in pots and need to get them in the ground.
Pretty blooms Jackie. Waiting for a pic of your new bloom too.
Is your blue, Berlin Blue? I can't think of any other blue names either.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Helena.
It is another Prettiest Saz that my pic didn;t turn out. It was in a pot marked
Xiongs or Prettiest Saz, both had been growing the previous yr in the same pot.
So now I guess I don;t have a Ziong's growing, wish I did.
Just found the name for my pretty blue blooming vine. its Hatsu Arashi, couldn;t
remember the name if my life depended on it. Found it in Plant files. Its almost identical to
Berlin blue and Akatsuki no Umi which is the variegated one..

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

All your blooms are beautiful Jackie and Helena.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Linda.

Gautier, MS

Thanks Linda.
Glad you found the name for your blue bloom. Yeah, I couldn't remember those either. I think you still have time to grow Xiongs Jackie. You can always place it in your gh if it doesn't bloom. The seeds of Blushing Bride are from 2011, already have the root tail coming out. So I'm happy about that.
I don't have any pics of blooms to post this morning. A white purpurea that didn't open and the little red ones that are repeats anyway.
